Antonius and Schillhabel Tied for the Lead

Level 17 : 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante

In the last hand of the previous level, Dietrich Fast raised to 250,000 on the button and Renato Nowak defended the big blind. The {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop was checked through and Nowak's bet of 400,000 on the {Q-Clubs} turn was called by Fast. The {4-Hearts} river went check, check, and Nowak's {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} won the pot.

Stefan Schillhabel made it 320,000 from the cutoff at the start of the new level and Dominik Nitsche in the small blind called, as did Patrik Antonius in the big blind. The flop fell {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and all three players checked. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Nitsche checked and Antonius bet 500,000, which resulted in a fold from Schillhabel and a call from Nitsche.

The {5-Spades} river completed the board and Nitsche checked. Antonius slid forward a stack of T-100,000 chips worth 2.6 million and Nitsche folded.

Manig Loeser defended his big blind against a raise by Schillhabel and check-folded the {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop to the shove of the joint chip leader.

Daher Eliminated By Fast; Official Final Table Reached

Level 16 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Albert Daher shoved all in for 340,000 in total from the under-the-gun position. Joao Simao called from the button. Dietrich Fast, in the small blind, looked at his cards, grabbed some blue 100,000-value chips and decided to three-bet to 960,000 in total. Simao folded immediately.

Dietrich Fast: {A-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Albert Daher: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} - no help for Daher and the ace on the turn gave him the final blow. The official final table has now been reached. The duration of the levels has been increased to 40 minutes each.

Becker Busts to Antonius

Level 16 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Johannes Becker
Johannes Becker

Fresh off his double up against Albert Daher, Patrik Antonius raised to 360,000 in the small blind and Johannes Becker moved all in from the big blind. Antonius instantly called and Becker was in need of help.

Johannes Becker: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Patrik Antonius: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board of {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} provided no help for Becker and he was sent to the rail in 10th place. All remaining nine players will redraw to the unofficial final table, then take a 15-minute break and continue with three minutes left in the current level.

The flop read {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} with a substantial pot in the middle already. Antonius has bet, Daher raised and Antonius shoved for 3,955,000 in total which Daher then called.

Patrik Antonius: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Albert Daher: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Daher had flopped a pair of sixes but Antonius had the overpair with the aces in his hand. The turn brought them the {2-Clubs} and the river completed the board with the {9-Hearts} to give Antonius the double-up leaving Daher behind with not much.

Schillhabel Eliminates Kisacikoglu

Level 16 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Stefan Schillhabel raised to 265,000 from the hijack and was called by Orpen Kisacikoglu and Arne Ruge in the blinds.

They all checked through the {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} on the flop to the {k-Hearts} on the turn. Kisacikoglu opened to 475,000, Ruge called but Schillhabel decided to shove. Kisacikoglu called with the smaller stack and Ruge folded. Schillhabel showed {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a flopped set of tens. Kisacikoglu tabled {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair, kings and tens. Kisacikoglu needed a king to survive but the {4-Hearts} on the river wasn't what he hoped for and he walked away from the table.

More for Kisacikoglu and Ruge

Level 16 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Manig Loeser defended his big blind against a raise by Orpen Kisacikopglu and both players checked the {Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop. Loeser checked and called a bet of 325,000 by Kisacikoglu on the {9-Diamonds} turn and checked again the {8-Clubs} on the river. Kisacikoglu made it 675,000 and that was enough to force a fold.

Renato Nowak raised to 250,000 and picked up three callers in Kisacikoglu, Arne Ruge and Dominik Nitsche in the big blind. On the {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop it was Ruge that took the betting lead with 350,000 and just Nowak called. The {J-Spades} river was checked by Nowak and Ruge's bet of 525,000 won the pot uncontested.

Ruge raised to 240,000 right after and Nitsche shoved for 2.4 million to claim back a portion of the previous losses.

Some for O'Dwyer

Level 16 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Johannes Becker made it 250,000 to go from the cutoff and Dietrich Fast called in the small blind, as did Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind. The {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked and Fast bet the {4-Clubs} turn for 400,000, which won the pot right there.

Becker then min-raised again and Albert Daher made it 600,000 to go. Becker moved all in and Daher folded.

Daher raised to 200,000 first to act and O'Dwyer three-bet to 600,000, Daher called. The {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop was checked by Daher and he called a bet of 600,000 by O'Dwyer. Both then checked the {A-Clubs} turn and {K-Hearts} river, and O'Dwyer tabled the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} as winning hand.
