Aldemir and Ziegler Eliminated

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante
Patrick Leonard off to a good start
Patrick Leonard off to a good start

With 220,000 in the pot and the flop showing {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Koray Aldemir checked in late position and Joao Simao bet 100,000 in the hijack. Aldemir check-shoved for some 400,000 and partypoker ambassador Simao quickly called.

Koray Aldemir: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Joao Simao: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs} turn and {5-Clubs} river failed to improve Aldemir and he was eliminated.

Tobias Ziegler has also joined the rail after running out of chips for the second time today. His raise from under the gun was called by Renato Nowak in the small blind, then partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard three-bet out of the big blind. Only Ziegler called and the flop came {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Leonard bet and called the shove of Ziegler to see the German turn over {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut flush draw. Leonard was ahead with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and faded the additional gutshot on the {Q-Spades} turn and {3-Spades} river run out.

More Updated Counts

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

On the river of a board {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}, Christoph Vogelsang moved all in from the small blind to put Johannes Becker on the button to the test. The latter had 550,000 behind and elected to fold.

Felipe Ramos has also dropped to around half the starting stack and raise-folded to a three-bet of Jean-Noel Thorel just now.

Simao Fails to Bluff Daher

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

There was about 125,000 in the middle and the flop read {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. partypoker Ambassador, Joao Simao (big blind), Stipo Vladic (under-the-gun), Albert Daher (mid-position), and Hamad Almannai (button) all checked through the flop to the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn. Simao bet 53,000 and only received a call from Daher.

The river completed the board with the {k-Clubs}, Simao bet 180,000. Daher glimpsed at Simao and threw in a chip to call. Simao showed {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} but he was bested by Daher who tabled {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair, queens and sixes.

Daher Arrives; Aldemir Doubles

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Manig Loeser and late arrival Albert Daher, the board showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Loeser bet 90,000. Daher eventually raised it up to 340,000 and that forced an instant fold.

The next hand, Aymon Hata raised to 32,000 from the cutoff and Hamad Almannai called in the small blind. Koray Aldemir in the big blind filled up and the trio checked the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop. Almannai bet the {7-Spades} turn for 35,000 and Aldemir moved all in for his last 224,000, forcing a fold from Hata and a call from Almannai.

Koray Aldemir: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Hamad Almannai: {A-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {6-Spades} river didn't matter anymore and Aldemir doubled to just over half the starting stack.

Thorel Takes From Troyanovskiy

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and was called by Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the small blind.

They both checked through the {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs} on the flop and the {3-Clubs} on the turn to the {3-Hearts} on the river. Troyanovskiy opened to 50,000, Thorel raised to 100,000 without much hesitation and Troyanovskiy snap-called. Thorel tabled {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a full house, fours over treys, and that was enough to make Troyanovskiy muck his hand with some regret on his face.

Leonard Builds Stack

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Thomer Pidun raised to 27,000 in the cutoff and Renato Nowak called on the button. Patrick Leonard made it 112,000 to go in the small blind and was called by Pidun only. On a flop of {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Leonard checked and Pidun checked behind. The {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Leonard made it 150,000 to go, Pidun called.

The {6-Clubs} river was checked through again and Leonard took down the pot with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for top pair and top kicker.

Nowak then raised to 50,000 on the button soon after and Leonard three-bet to 200,000, Nowak called. The flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Leonard's continuation bet of 200,000 was quickly called by Nowak. On the {4-Clubs} turn, Leonard moved all in and Nowak asked for a count. The shove was for 1.027 million and that proved to be too much for Nowak, who sent his cards into the muck.
