Too Many Outs for Simpson

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Ian Simpson
Ian Simpson

Tobias Reinkemeier raised to 650,000 on the button and Ian Simpson moved all in from the big blind. Reinkemeier asked for a count and the shove of the former Irish Open champion was for 4,425,000 in total. Reinkemeier called and the cards were turned over.

Ian Simpson: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Tobias Reinkemeier: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

On the {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, nothing much changed but Simpson had a huge sweat. When the {J-Spades} fell on the turn, Simpson joked "I have too many outs, so I am screwed," before the huge brick {8-Clubs} appeared on the river.

You Can't Beat Quads

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante

There's no shame in busting to quads, but that probably won't be much of a consolation for Dean Mulders, who just exited the partypokerLIVE Millions Main Event in 89th.

Mulders got his money in with {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} in a blind versus blind situation, but they were no match against the {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} of Alex Rhys-Davies that made quads on the {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} board.

89th place is good for a payout of £15,000.

A Swift Exit for Raja

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Katie Swift in action at the table...could she walk away with a million pounds on Sunday?
Katie Swift in action at the table...could she walk away with a million pounds on Sunday?

Asif Raja and Katie Swift clashed in a very big pot at a table also shared by Igor Kurganov.

Pre-flop, Swift called a raise in the big blind, with Raja making it 800,000 from the cut-off. The flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs} saw Swift check and Raja make it 1.5 million. Swift raised to 3.7 million and a fast all-in from Raja got a snap-call.

Asif Raja: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Katie Swift: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The turn of {9-Diamonds} and river {10-Spades} ended Raja's hopes and has put Katie Swift in pole position for a very deep run indeed here at Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham. Could Swift end up becoming our millionaire winner?

Cody Doubles and Busts Hoang

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Jake Cody
Jake Cody

Shortly after coming back from dinner, Jake Cody doubled for 21 big blinds with pocket threes against the ace-jack suited of Gerald Karlic. Just now, Karlic raised to 650,000 from the cutoff and Tai Hoang moved in from the button for 4,430,000. Cody reraised all in from the small blind and Karlic folded.

Tai Hoang: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Jake Cody: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board came {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Hoang took his belongings. Cody has motored up to the top half of the chipcounts, but still sits just over the 15.7m chip average in the room.

There are still 80 players left in the tournament and three more 75-minute levels to play, so anything can happen until the close of play around 1am local time.

Yan Looking Golden

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
[Removed:17] looking 'golden', but Lauck has lost the last longer chance.
[Removed:17] looking 'golden', but Lauck has lost the last longer chance.

[Removed:17] has eliminated another player from the MILLIONS Main Event after his opponent moved all-in for 6,435,000 on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and after a moment's consideration, Yan called it off with {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Yan was winning with pocket sixes against {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the board paired to give Yan the full house with the {4-Hearts} landing on the turn.

The {2-Diamonds} river added insult to injury for his opponent but New Zealand's [Removed:17] has moved second in chips in the room with an incredible 45 million. He won't care a bit how.

Sexton's Ship Sinks: Business is Booming for Briotti

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Mike Sexton
Mike Sexton

Fabio Sperling raised to 650,000 before Tommaso Briotti reraised to 1,550,000 from the small blind. Mike Sexton in the big blind put his stack of just below 5 million at risk, Sperling folded, Briotti quickly called and the hands were turned over.

Mike Sexton: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Tommaso Briotti: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Disaster struck already on the flop for the Partypoker Ambassador as it came {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and with no help on the {2-Clubs} turn or the {4-Spades} river, Sexton hit the rail.

Lauck Pushes Around Castelluccio

Level 42 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 700,000 and Jonas Lauck three-bet to 1,900,000 from the button, picking up a call by the Italian. On the {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Castelluccio check-called a bet worth 1,100,000 and did so again for 1,900,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn.

The {9-Diamonds} river completed the board and Castelluccio checked the third street in a row. Lauck bet 10,000,000, enough to cover his opponent, and the Italian folded after plenty of consideration.
