Titov Chips Up; As Does Neuville
Level 2
: 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
"It was more before but Pierre is crushing it," Gerald Karlic said. The Austrian had qualified through a phase satellite and came with around 1.2 million, but has since lost a bit of that to Pierre Neuville.
Oleg Titov bagged up chips yesterday, but he also had a second stack coming into today to try and run up more chips. After a raise to 8,500, he three-bet to 25,000. Maxim Lykov four-bet to 95,000 and, once the initial raiser folded, Titov squeezed to 225,000 with 460,000 behind. Lykov gave it some thought and folded.
Another familiar face that joined very recently is partypoker Sponsored Pro Richard Dubini, who sat down in the very corner table with Jeff Hakim.
