Bicknell and Michaelis Chip Up

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Matthias de Meulder opened to 3,000 and Kristen Bicknell as well as Philipp Gruissem in the big blind called. On the {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Gruissem checked and subsequently folded while de Meulder bet 5,600 and Bicknell called.

After the {2-Clubs} turn, de Meulder checked and Bicknell claimed the pot without showdown by betting 10,000.

On table over, Pierre Neuville made it 3,000 to go from the button and Paul Michaelis three-bet to 10,500 in the small blind., Neuville called. On the {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Michaelis checked and was suddenly the one to call a bet of 10,000. Boht checked the {4-Hearts} turn and Michaelis' bet of 12,500 on the river was reluctantly called. Michaelis turned over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top pair and that won the pot.
