Jacks for Ayras

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Teun Mulder opened the button for 12,000. Pauli Ayras three-bet to 40,000 and Mulder called.

Ayras led out for 20,000 and got a call from Mulder after the {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs} came on the flop. Both players checked after the {7-Diamonds} came on the turn and the {10-Hearts} on the river. Ayras turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} and won the pot after Mulder tossed his hand into the muck.

Ayras then won another small pot a hand later to further narrow the gap against his opponent.

Koray Aldemir Eliminated in 3rd Place (€81,600)

Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Teun Mulder opened the button to 12,000. Pauli Ayras quickly folded the small blind before Koray Aldemir jammed from the big blind for around 100,000.

Mulder didn't ask for a chip count and snap-called his opponent.

Koray Aldemir: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Teun Mulder: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Aldemir got his chips in good but was quickly at a disadvantage with the {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop giving his opponent two pair. Neither the {4-Spades} on the turn nor the {q-Hearts} on the river were able to give Aldemir life and he was ousted in third place for €81,600.

Mulder and Ayras agreed after the hand to eliminate the antes. They played a few more hands and both players decided they wanted a five-minute break.

Left on a nub after losing the queens versus jacks, Janssen got it in multiple times and received no calls, only to be forced to give it up when the blinds passed again. On a first-in spot, Janssen shoved all in again, this time for 45,000, and Pauli Ayras came over the top al in.

Tommie Janssen: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Pauli Ayras: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

One of the Finnish railbirds jumped up to cheer for Ayras and he kept celebrating after the board came down {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. 'Godfatti' was the first to walk away with a cash prize of €40,870.

Tough Beat for Janssen

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Tommie Janssen opened up from under the gun to 8,000. The action folded around to Koray Aldemir who raised to 50,000 with just a little bit behind. Janssen four-bet him for the rest and Aldemir called.

Tommie Janssen: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Koray Aldemir: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It was looking good for Janssen to double and Aldemir to exit in fourth place. It was looking even better after the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} came on the flop followed by the {5-Hearts} on the turn.

However, Aldemir hit a two outer after the {j-Spades} spiked the river to give him a set for the save.

"Oh my god," Janssen said in disbelief.

After the hand, Janssen had 9,500 but managed two double up to get a little bit of breathing room.

Timothy Adams open-shoved all in for about 95,000 from the small blind and Pauli Ayras immediately called from the big blind.

Timothy Adams: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Pauli Ayras: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades} to pair up both players and reduce Adams from three to two outs. The turn {q-Diamonds} and river {4-Diamonds} kept Ayras ahead to make the Canadian the last player to leave empty-handed.

Everyone Loves a Chop

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Teun Mulder limped the button before Timothy Adams jammed the small blind sharing with the table it was around 80,000. Koray Aldemir folded in the big blind and Mulder snap-called.

Both players had the same hand in different suits with Adams holding {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Mulder holding {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop kept the hand as a coin flip.

The {10-Diamonds} came on the turn to give Mulder a freeroll on the river. The {q-Hearts} wasn't one of the cards that would have given Mulder the entire pot and the duo pulled back their stacks and split the big blind and ante.

The next hand, Mulder raised to 8,000 from the cutoff and Adams jammed from the button. This time Mulder opted to fold and after the hand, Adams stack was up to 102,000.
