Guodong Wins Big Pot Amid Controversy

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The redraw of the last three tables was bound to happen but there was a lot of controversy in three-way action to the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} turn that brought a check of Sun Guodong out of the big blind and Alex Lee in late position. Graeme Siow bet 110,000 and Guodong called, Lee then raised to 380,000 and picked up a reluctant call from Guodong only.

After the {5-Hearts} fell on the river, Guodong checked and Lee bet 290,000.

Guodong was sent in the think tank and he then grabbed his green T-25,000 chips, moved them to the other side of his stack and almost silently announced something while putting them into the middle of the table. The dealer announced call and Lee instantly rolled over his {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} without putting in any further chips. Guodong exposed his {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a set and that's when things got tricky.

Guodong was suddenly furious and said he had announced all in. The floor staff was called and the entire hand was explained, the dealer once again confirmed he did not understand all-in and it was ultimately ruled as a call only.
