Zhang Doubles Through Yotsushika

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Liu Heng Dai raised to 65,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and had 540,000 behind. He faced the three-bet to 165,000 by Yang Zhang with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} in the hijack and Kazuhiko Yotsushika called with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} on the button, as did Dai.

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}, all three players checked and the {6-Clubs} followed on the turn. The action checked to Yotsushika and he suddenly moved all-in for an effective 1,105,000 to force out Dai, while Zhang gave it brief consideration and called.

Comfortable big stack not long ago, Yotsushika suddenly had just two outs remaining and missed on the {3-Diamonds} river to see his stack reduced to a miracle.

Yotsushika Jams Into Dai and Sun

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Liu Heng Dai raised to 70,000 with the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Bin Sun three-bet to 205,000 with {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} out of the small blind. Kazuhiko Yotsushika four-bet all in for 1.2 million out of the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Dai folded the best hand.

Sun gave it some consideration and stared at his table neighbor before releasing his cards into the muck as well.

Sun Takes Over The Lead

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Bin Sun opened the action with a raise to 65,000 in the hijack holding the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Kazuhiko Yotsushika three-bet to 165,000 with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} in the cutoff. The action folded back to Sun and he made the call to hit top pair on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop.

Sun checked and called a first barrel for 100,000 to see the {5-Diamonds} turn, which he checked once more. Yotsushika made it 475,000 to go with a pure bluff and Sun called to create a pot of 1.4 million between the two chip leaders.

After the {k-Spades} river, Sun checked a third time and Yotsushika fired a third barrel for 500,000 to send Sun into the think tank. He already tossed in a time bank extension and then counted his remaining stack before making the call.

The biggest pot of the tournament so far vaulted Sun into a comfortable lead while Yotsushika dropped to third place.

Zhang Wins Big Pot Against Wang

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Yang Zhang raised with the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Bin Wang called in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, as did Feng Chen in the big blind with {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}. They checked the {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and the {a-Spades} fell on the turn.

Action checked to Zhang and he bet 115,000, Wang used a time bank extension and called while Chen folded.

The {4-Clubs} on the river paired the board and Wang checked once more. Zhang now bet 465,000 with very few chips behind. Wang reluctantly called and lost a big portion of his stack to be left with fewer than half a million.

Wang Wins Off Yotsushika

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

In a battle under the gun versus big blind, Bin Wang raised it up with the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Kazuhiko Yotsushika defended the {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Yotsushika bet the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and the {k-Spades} turn to create a pot of 540,000. They checked the {9-Spades} on the river and the kicker played to award the pot to Wang.
