Su and Xu Bow Out

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Feng Chen
Feng Chen

Bo Xu used two time-bank extensions and eventually called all in from the button with the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} as Edward Kim had pushed in the cutoff with the slightly superior stack and {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. None of the overcards or any other shenanigans appeared on the board and Xu headed to the rail.

He was joined there moments later by Jin Su, who had an above-average stack not long ago. His stack was sent one seat over to Feng Chen who appears to be the current chip leader with fewer than 90 players remaining.

Assorted Stacks

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Pete Chen was down to as low as 27,000 but doubled and then three-bet jammed successfully to win some more chips.

Now that the late registration has closed, some new big stacks have emerged with Lestr Edoc, Lei Yu and Joshua Zimmerman all in prime position to make a deep run.

Soyza Shows Aces

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ngoc Tai Hoang limped the button and Kazuhiko Yotsushika filled up from the small blind. Michael Soyza in the big blind raised and was called only by Yotsushika. On a flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Yotsushika check-folded to a bet of 9,000 and was shown the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} by Soyza.

Three Barrels by Teh

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Hiroyuki Noda has seen his stack somewhat cut down after he faced three barrels by Natalie Teh on a board of {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The first two bets were check-called by Noda who then had some 30,000 behind.

Teh piled in her T-5,000 chips and Noda already pushed forward his time bank extensions but ended up folding within the allocated 30 seconds. While Teh raked in the pot, Noda jokingly said "okay I call."
