If we were betting on it, we'd take the over on the scheduled noon starting time. The original plan was to play it out on the stage that has been constructed over top of the meandering pool outside. Mother nature has foiled those plans with sporadic rain showers, and the staff is scrambling to come up with alternatives. The new idea is to move next door to Gilligan's Restaurant and play underneath the cover of their roof.
It's a noble idea, but with the scheduled start just about 10 minutes away, virtually nothing has been set up. Tables, chairs, chips, microphones, lights, and all of the other necessities will still need to be relocated and prepared for play. We'll keep you updated on the situation as we hear more, but we can't imagine getting underway before 1:00. Stay tuned.
