With 1,600 in the pot and a flop of 2♣9♦3♠6♥, Lee Jackson, a Toronto commercial real estate professional and father of three who won his way into this tournament via a free Step 1 ticket, checked from the small blind, and Michael Harris, who won a Gold Pass by finishing the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) as the 'Golden Player of the Series,' bet 1,000.
Jackson called and then shifted gears by leading out for 1,500 when the 3♣ completed the board on the river. Harris called with the A♣9♣ for nines and threes with an ace kicker, which was good as Jackson showed the A♦K♣ for the ace-high bluff.
