Balilti Gets There

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Michael Wang opened in early position to 2,600. He got called by Brendan Shiller in middle position, Matt Affleck on the button, and Daniel Balilti in the big blind.

The 710K landed on the flop and action checked to Wang who continued for 7,500. Shiller got out of the way and Affleck called on the button. Balilti sat in the tank for a moment and then check-raised all in for about 30,500.

Wang thought it over an ultimatly rejammed having the others covered. Affleck got out of the way and the cards hit their backs.

Daniel Balilti: 106
Michael Wang: KQ

Balilti was behind until the dealer put the 6 on the turn and the 10 on the river. Balilti went from a pair plus a flushdraw to a boat and scooped a massive pot.

Bradbury Continues Chipping Up

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

William Bradbury raised 3,000 from the cutoff and was called by the big blind to bring out the 533.

Neither player wasted much time in checking through to see the 8 hit the turn.

The big blind opted to lead out with a bet of 6,000. Bradbury tossed in the call, bring the J out on the river.

Action checked through to showdown and Bradbury turned over the 1010 which was good enough to take the pot as Bradbury continues moving his chip stack in the right direction.

Leng Gets Sneaky

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Matt Affleck opened under the gun to 3,500 before it folded all the way to Ryan Leng in the big blind who flat called.

The Q610 flop hit the felt and action checked to Affleck who continued for 6,500. Leng snap called.

The 6 landed on the turn and action checked to Affleck who slowed down and checked it back.

The 10 landed on the river and Leng checked once more. Affleck checked it back and Leng quickly said "I win." as he tabled KK.

Affleck smiled and flashed AxKx as he mucked. There could have been a lot more chips in the middle preflop but he was able to dodge the potential cooler.

Wantman Wins Blind vs Blind

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

Action folded to Matthew Wantman in the small blind who raised to 4,000. Mark Ioli made the call from the big blind and the dealer fanned out the 68A flop.

Wantman continued with a lead for 3,500 and was met with a quick call from Ioli before the dealer brought the 7 out on the turn.

Both players paused before checking through to a J river.

Wantman reached for his chips and counted out a bet worth 10,500. Ioli wasn't immediate in letting his cards go and seemed to have a decision on his hands but would eventually fold, giving the pot to Wantman with no need for a showdown.
