Cervantes First to Bust Today

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Rudy Cervantes was all-in and at risk from the small blind for a pot of 2,100 while Mike Liang in the big blind, David Dethomasis from under the gun, and Joshua Thatcher were playing for a side pot of 3,600.

The flop came 7Q9, Liang checked. Dethomasis opted to bet 2,400 which only Thatcher called.

The turn was the 2 and Dethomasis fired a bet of 4,000 out which was called again.

The river completed the board with the J and Cervantes got up from his chair while the other two were still active in the hand. They looked up but he didn't even turn around and quickly made his way out of the tournament area.

Dethomasis fired a bet of 7,000. Thatcher considered it for a while before opting to fold.

Dethomasis tabled the 66 for the pair of sixes for the dealer to reveal Cervantes held K2 for a pair of deuces.
