Teston Keeps the Chip Stack Moving in the Right Direction

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ryne Teston opened in middle position to 1,000 before the button opted to three-bet to 3,000. Teston asked for a rough chip count from his opponent and then made the call.

The 5K8 flop landed and Teston checked to the three-bettor who continued for 2,500. Teston called and the 3 rolled off on the turn.

Teston sat in the tank for a moment and then opted to lead the turn for 10,000 which effectively put his opponent all in. The button thought it over for a moment but eventually folded.

Teston took it down and kept the chip lead as the middling levels began.

Balilti Makes Eights Work

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Daniel Balilti raised from under the gun to 1,100 and got one call to his direct left before seeing the flop come down K86.

Both players checked to see the turn bring out the 5.

Balilti thought briefly before putting out a bet for 1,500. His opponent made the call, prompting the dealer to put the K out on the river.

Action checked to showdown and Balilti turned over the Q8, prompting his opponent to ask, "Why'd you bet the turn there?", signaling the dealer to push the pot in Balilti's direction.

Teston Navigates Three-Bet Pot Against Wang

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ryne Teston opened in early position to 1,100 before Michael Wang three-bet the small blind to 5,500. Teston did some accounting and then flicked in the call.

The 722 landed on the flop and Wang continued for 3,000. Teston called again and the 6 rolled off on the turn.

This time Wang checked it over to Teston and after a moment in the tank he opted to take the betting lead with a wager of 5,000. Wang called.

The 9 peeled off on the river and the action slowed down and checked through. Teston showed 88 for just second pair and Wang tapped the table and mucked.

Teston continues to keep a stranglehold on the chip lead.

Bradbury Sends Opponent to the Exit

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

On a flop reading 6Q7, the player first to act had already bet out 7,600 and received a call behind from a player in middle position when William Bradbury jammed for around 39,000.

The player who originally bet 7,600 tanked for a good while before finally tossing his cards toward the muck but the middle position player quickly called to put himself at risk and send the two remaining players to a runout.

Middle Position: 89
William Bradbury: 67

The 7 turn card filled up Bradbury but left his opponent drawing live to an open-ended straight flush but when the river brought the 6, Bradbury secured the pot as his opponent stood to make his exit from the tournament area.

Orpaz Sends Opponent Up the River

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The player under the gun raised to 1,200 and found callers in both Tom Orpaz on the button and the player in the big blind before seeing the flop come 54Q.

All three players knuckled the table, signaling the dealer to burn and turn the K.

The big blind led for an all-in bet worth 7,500. The under-the-gun player folded but Orpaz made a quick call from the button to put his opponent at risk with one card to come.

Big blind: Q4
Tom Orpaz: K9

The big blind was well ahead going to the river, but when it came the K, Orpaz made three kings to steal the pot and send his opponent to the exit.

"Pyzza" Still Rollin' Dough

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action folded to Ryne "Pyzza" Teston in the small blind who announced a raise and tossed out 1,400 chips, quickly getting called by the big blind before seeing a 23Q.

Both players opted to check and see the turn come 8.

Teston decided to lead this time and did so with a bet of 1,000. The big blind quickly made the call before watching the dealer put out the 6 river.

Teston checked over to the big blind who didn't waste much time in putting out a bet for 2,000. Teston put in the call and saw the big blind turn over the 67 which was good news for Teston as he turned over the A6 to take down the pot.
