Substantial Pot for Boyaciyan

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Jussi Nevanlinna raised to 60,000 from under the gun and called the three-bet of David Boyaciyan one seat over for another 80,000 on top. The {8-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} flop triggered a continuation bet by Boyaciyan for 120,000 and Nevanlinna check-called before betting 145,000 when the {Q-Spades} appeared on the turn. The {A-Hearts} on the river scared both players enough to check and Nevanlinna's {9-Hearts} {9-Spades} were second best to the {A-Spades} {10-Spades} of Boyaciyan.

The run-out of the hand reminded very much of the previous confrontation with Ole Schemion.

The King is Enough for Boyaciyan

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

David Boyaciyan raised on the button to 60,000 and Ole Schemion defended his big blind. On the {K-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} flop, the German check-called a continuation bet of 60,000 and then led for 125,000 after the {J-Spades} turn. Boyaciyan called and the {5-Spades} ceased all action with both players checking. Schemion had to show {10-Diamonds} {7-Spades} first and Boyaciyan won the pot with {K-Diamonds} {9-Spades}.
