It was an unceremonious moment as the bubble finally burst. Media and spectators were gathered around a different table where Oliver Hutchins had just doubled up. Over in a quiet corner, Egemen Orhan was all in blind in the big blind against two opponents.
As recalled by the player, Orhan had Qx4x and was raised by a player who had Ax8x. Another caller was in the pot too, also holding an ace in his hand.
The board ran out 7x7x8xAx with a blank on the river to give Orhan's opponent two pair, aces and eights.
Orhan was eliminated on the stone bubble. The rest of the players all locked up at least a min-cash.
Georgina James, known online as GJ Reggie, open shoved all in from early position for around ten big blinds. Action folded around to the small blind and the short stacked player made the call. Jesus Castro Gonzalez also called in the big blind and GJ had both players covered as the cards were turned.

Lamamri was ahead with his pocket jacks, but the board ran out [Qd7d8dTdx] to give Chaigneau a flush. He won the pot and Lamamri busted the tournament.
The very next hand, Lamamri raised from early position and Joey Benjamin Van Zalen moved all in with a short stack. Lamamri called and the cards were turned.

The board ran out 9♥5♦10♥K♥8♣. Sebastien Chaigneau held with his pocket aces to win the pot and bust another player, sending van Zalen to the rail.
The prize pool has been confirmed as €172,379 along with the payouts. The top 47 players will make the money and the min-cash is worth €1,100. The overall winner is set to take home €31,000.

Action was on the turn on a board of 5♠3♥Q♦2♣. Lex Velduis checked and Matias Arroya checked behind.
The river was the 2♠ and Veldhuis raised for most of his stack, leaving just a few chips behind. Arroya put him in for the rest and Veldhuis called.
Veldhuis showed A♠Q♣ for two pair, queens and the deuces on board. Arroya flipped over A♥A♦ for two pair with pocket aces to win the pot, sending Lex to the rail.

The tournament is expected to play down to the money and beyond today as at least 108 players return to the felt in the hope of running deep and claiming the title.
Marc Segura of Spain is the overall chip leader after topping Day 1c with 455,000 chips, way out in front of the competition.
Segura's nearest rival is Jordi Granell Diaz, also from Spain, who has 313,000, followed by Jesse van Stegeren of the Netherlands with 287,500.

Of course, rankings can change in an instant when action resumes. Blinds will resume at Level 15 and run for 40 minutes, with a 20-minute break every three levels.
The tournament is set to resume at 3 p.m. local time. Late registration remains open until the start of Day 2, at which point full entry numbers and prize pools will be confirmed.
