Glampson Takes From Ehmling

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jason Glampson raised to 125,000 from middle position and he was called by Valentin Ehmling on the cutoff. The others got out of the way and the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop was dealt.

Glampson continued with a bet of 125,000 and he was called by Ehmling to see the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Ehmling then called a bet of 175,000 to see the {a-Diamonds} and he used a time bank card to call a bet of 275,000 on the river.

Glampson showed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for a rivered set of aces and he won the pot.

Double Omar

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Omar Al Kaisy got his 730,000 in the middle with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} against the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} of Steve Berto. The {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop was very sweaty and Al Kaisy suddenly had a real risk of being eliminated from the tournament.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Diamonds} and Al Kaisy managed to hold on to the best hand and double up.

Jasper 'Oemtoeoemtoe' van der Veen Eliminated

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Stephen O'Keeffe raised from the cutoff to 125,000 with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Jasper van der Veen found {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} in the small blind. He pushed his last 515,000 in the middle and he was called by O'Keeffe.

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Van der Veen, also going by 'Oemtoeoemtoe' was eliminated from the tournament in 16th place.

Ehmling Takes From McCague

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The flop was {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} with 275,000 in the middle already when Kyle McCague checked in the big blind to Valentin Ehmling on the button. Ehmling bet 75,000 and he was called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {7-Clubs} river card complete the board.

McCague bet 210,000 on the river and Ehmling almost ran out of time as they use a 30-second shot clock, but he called just before time ran out.

McCague showed {k-Spades}{5-Hearts} but Ehmling had called with {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for the best hand with ace-high.

The Final Sixteen Start at Noon Local Time

Jasper 'Oemtoeoemtoe' van der Veen
Jasper 'Oemtoeoemtoe' van der Veen

The field of 889 has been reduced to just 16 players and Kyle McCague is on top of the leaderboard as the only player with more than three million chips. A lot of the eyes from the community will be focused on Jasper 'Oemtoeoemtoe' van der Veen as the last remaining hope from the community. Van der Veen was the chip leader in the tournament at one point but he ended up bagging nearly half of what he had in front of him on the bubble. Van der Veen will start the day with 615,000 which is about 12 big blinds.

Carl Von Dobeln (2,750,000), Thomas Lewis (2,460,000), Cristian-Gicu Stanciu (2,850,000), Halil Gecaj (2,180,000), and Claudiu Florin (2,145,000) are all below McCague on the leaderboard, but they all have over two million in chips and have great position to win the first place prize of £31,257. All are already guaranteed £1,600. The ones that are also still fighting for first are Velentin Ehmlin (1,650,000), Steve Berto (1,600,000), Stephen O'Keeffe (1,435,000), and Jason Glampson (1,190,000).

The ones with less than a million and a little more work to do today are Atanas Pavlov (970,000), Robert Hutchinson (820,000), Omar Al Kaisy (595,000), and Xiaohe Tan (60,000). Tan will start the day with little over one big blind and the draw for the button will be very important for her.

The tournament restart in level 25 with blinds at 25,000/50,000 and a 50,000 big blind ante and the levels are 40-minutes just like on Day 2. The tournament will be live-streamed on Lex Veldhuis's Twitch channel, but you can also find it at the top of this page. The updates by PokerNews will be delayed as well so there will be no spoilers.

Make sure to keep an eye on PokerNews for the latest updates as they play down to a winner.
