Andre Luiz Scaff Eliminated in 6th Place ($36,974)

Andre Luiz Scaff - 6th Place
Andre Luiz Scaff - 6th Place

Action folded around to Andre Luiz Scaff and he moved all in for 340,000. Matthias Habernig made the call from the big blind and the cards were on their backs for another all-in showdown.

Scaff: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Habernig: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Habernig's queen kicker played to give him the win. Scaff was eliminated from the tournament and took home just under $37,000. For Habernig, it's simply of story of "the rich get richer."

Rodrigo Scartezini Eliminated in 7th Place ($27,702)

Rodrigo Scartezini - 7th Place
Rodrigo Scartezini - 7th Place

Rodrigo Scartezini moved his last 188,000 into the pot first to act, and after the action folded round to Dayan Vardanega in the big blind; he made the call.

Scartezini: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Vardanega: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The flop of {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} kept Scartezini in the lead as both were joined by the remainder of the table in standing to sweat the turn and river.

The dealer dropped the {8-Clubs} on the turn to give Vardanega a sweat for any four-side - or in non-Baccarat educated terms; a ten or nine.

As the crowd watched from a distance up at the flat screen TVs, Vardanega would let out a loud scream while throwing his hands in the air as the TVs delayed the {9-Spades} landing on the river.

Scartezini dropped his head after copping the beat to send him to the rail in 7th place, but fortunately for him, he would be $27,702 richer to help ease the pain of Vardanega's rivered six-outer.

Mt. Habernig Grows

From middle position, Dayan Vardanega raised to 92,000. Action then folded around to Matthias Habernig in the small blind. He opted to make it a little more pricy and reraised to 325,000. Vardanega tanked for a minute, but eventually tossed his hand away and Habernig added some more chips to his mountain.

Martins Straightens Out Blondeau

With the action on Alexandre Richard Martins, he moved all in from the cutoff for his last 259,000, only to have Rudy Blondeau move all in from the small blind.

Martins: {J-Spades}{9-Spades}
Blondeau: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

With Martins needing to improve to stay alive, the {Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop gave him hope with a pair and a combination of backdoor draws.

As both players stood to see the fate delivered to them by the dealer, the {10-Hearts} on the turn brought about some oohs and ahhs from the crowd and the players at the table as Martins would now need any king, jack, nine or eight to stay alive.

Fortunately for Martins, he found the {K-Diamonds} on the river to send him into - and his railbirds - into a burst of celebration after doubling through to 550,000.

Unfortunately for the Canadian in Blondeau, he is now the short stack with just 140,000 in chips.
