Blondeau:
With Martins needing to improve to stay alive, the flop gave him hope with a pair and a combination of backdoor draws.
As both players stood to see the fate delivered to them by the dealer, the on the turn brought about some oohs and ahhs from the crowd and the players at the table as Martins would now need any king, jack, nine or eight to stay alive.
Fortunately for Martins, he found the on the river to send him into - and his railbirds - into a burst of celebration after doubling through to 550,000.
Unfortunately for the Canadian in Blondeau, he is now the short stack with just 140,000 in chips.
