Nattaf Leads the Way For Now
Level 5
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
"Why did you not call the sixteen and pot?" Romain Nattaf asked Oleksandr Sadovyi. The former chip leader ended up second-best to Nattaf's J♦9♥7♥2x on the 9♦8♠8♣9♠7♦ river and that caused some banter back and forth.
Sadovyi had an eight and mucked, exclaiming several times how lucky Nattaf was. The next pot also went to Nattaf when he potted preflop and on the J♥6♥6♣ flop, forcing out Sadovyi and Beiyan Yu. That left Sadovyi with a handful of blinds and they vanished soon after.
