Miracle Double for Lescot

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Shortly after coming back from the break, Eric Lescot ended up as the player at risk in a battle against Andreas Bremer, who limped in with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} in the cutoff. Lescot came along from the small blind with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Roger Hairabedian checked with the {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

The {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop was checked and Lescot bet the {j-Clubs} turn for 60,000, which forced out Hairabedian. Bremer gave it some thought and raised, Lescot called all-in for 80,000.

Both were drawing to a straight and Lescot said in French to Hairabedian that it will be difficult to win. "A six would do" Lescot added and indeed spiked the {6-Hearts} on the river to double.
