Jachtmann Eliminated by Stratmeyer

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

A pot-sized raise preflop between Christian Stratmeyer and Jan-Peter Jachtmann led to the {k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop on which Stratmeyer bet 80,000 and called the shove of Jachtmann.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Christian Stratmeyer: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts} turn paired up Stratmeyer and the {4-Hearts} river sent Jachtmann to the rail in 12th place.

Casagrande Busts Tutus

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Tuncay Tutus
Tuncay Tutus

With 63,000 in the middle and the completed board showing {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Harry Casagrande bet 35,000. Tuncay Tutus, who has been very active in table chat, then moved all-in for 138,500 and that sent Casagrande into the think tank.

Tutus kept talking to Casagrande who then made the call.

Tutus rolled over {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for eights full but Casagrande had {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} for jacks full of sevens.

Ayoub Eliminated by Stratmeyer

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Jules Ayoub
Jules Ayoub

In three-way action to the {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, Jules Ayoub raised it up to 57,000 on the outer table and Christian Stratmeyer was the only caller as Harry Casagrande sent his cards into the muck. Ayoub checked the {3-Hearts} on the turn and then called the shove of Stratmeyer.

Jules Ayoub: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Christian Stratmeyer: {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {3-Clubs} on the river was a blank and Ayoub was eliminated in 15th place.

Triple Knockout for Casagrande

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Harry Casagrande
Harry Casagrande

Harry Casagrande improved his stack as of recently while Robert Wilke was left short and down to one T-25,000 chip. What followed was a four-way all-in with Wilke at risk from the cutoff as Casagrande had 18,000 invested from the small blind.

Out of the big blind, Kristijan Maric pushed for 46,500 and Andre Ellbracht from under the gun moved in for more than 130,000.

Wilke was awaiting his fate and Casagrande also eventually called to make it a four-way showdown.

Robert Wilke: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Kristijan Maric: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Andre Ellbracht: {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Harry Casagrande: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The board came {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Casagrande turned the king-high straight to knock out three opponents.

Oenal and Ferchichi Eliminated; More Follow

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Khalil Ferchichi
Khalil Ferchichi

Khalil Ferchichi was at risk with the {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} when he turned the wheel on {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} while Karol Konopka looked him up with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} for two nut flush draws and full house outs. The river brought the {8-Spades} and that was it for Ferchichi.

Right after in the first hand he played, "Eddie Brankovic" sent Goekhan Oenal to the rail with {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} versus {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. On a board of {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, there was little hope for Oenal.

Jules Ayoub bought back in next to Ossama Khamis, who was suddenly short and then doubled through The Duc Ngo. Ngo was left with crumbs and his shove was called three ways. Jamil666 ended up scooping the pot on a {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} board as he had {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} for queens full.

Ayoub then bowed out and Harry Casagrande also came up short. Han Kuo flopped a jack-high nut straight but Saeed Rehman with the {a-}{q-}{7-}{7-} rivered a full house.

Who Will Win the 2020 King's Resort €2,500 PLO High Roller?

Poker Arena
Poker Arena

At 2 p.m. local time on Sunday June 21st, 2020, the cards will be back in the air in the vast poker arena of the King's Resort and Casino in Rozvadov when the Pot-Limit Omaha aficionados return to their seats for the second and final day of the 2020 King's Resort €2,500 PLO High Roller.

After six levels of 30 minutes each on a short Day 1, a field of 34 entries emerged and 19 players bagged up chips overnight. There is little doubt that the event won't surpass the €100,000 guarantee as another four levels of late registration and unlimited re-entries remain for players to join the action.

One of those expected to jump in is former football striker Sergej Barbarez, who skipped Day 1 as he was still deep in the last two tables of the VIP Invitational and checked out the action from time to time while on break. All those that enter in the first level of the day will commence with 50 big blinds as the action returns to blinds of 500-1,000.

Leading the field into the final day as the chip leader is former WSOP PLO bracelet winner Jan-Peter Jachtmann with a stack of 210,000, followed by Pedjman Hamie with 182,000 and Jonas Kronwitter with 165,800. Not far behind are Andre Ellbracht with 140,000 and Roger Hairabedian, who ended Day 1 with 136,600 in chips.

Furthermore among the returning contenders are Roman Cieslik (67,700), Han Kuo (58,800), Jules Ayoub (47,500), Eric Lescot (39,700), Christian Stratmeyer (32,500) and Janja Andelic (31,200) while King's regular "The Talk" will very likely re-enter after bowing out in the final level of the previous night.

Once the late registration closes after the first four 30-minute levels of the day, the King's Resort will also pick up the action in the early evening and stream the PLO action on their Twitch Channel until a champion has been crowned. Follow along right here on PokerNews from start-to-finish.
