Dwyer Extends his Chip Lead

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

John Dwyer raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and it folded around to the big blind who called. The flop came {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and the big blind checked. Dwyer made a continuation bet of 2,700 and got called again from the big blind.

The turn came the {7-Diamonds}, the big blind checked and Dwyer made it another 4,100. The big blind called.

The river was the {k-Diamonds}, and this time Dwyer made it 7,800 putting his opponent in bad position if he made the call because he was low on chips. After a brief tank the big blind called and Dwyer showed him the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and the big blind mucked.

Wetzel Takes From Davidson

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board read {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Brandon Wetzel led out with a bet of about 8,000 and was raised by Nick Davidson to about 24,000. Wetzel thought for a long time while playing with his chips and eyeing Davidson before eventually putting in the call.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}. Both players checked coyly to head the to river which came the {k-Spades} and the action again went check-check.

Wetzel turned over the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} as Davidson mucked to give Wetzel a sizable pot.

Grise Grows Chip Stack

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A player in Seat 1 had moved all in preflop for 32,500. Brandon Wetzel flat called. Ben Grise asked Wetzel how much he had behind before also making the flat call to create a huge pot.

Wetzel and Grise would check it down as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The player in Seat 1 showed the {j-}{j-} and Wetzel showed the {a-}{q-}. But Grise had them both beat with the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} as the flush came home on the river.

With his tournament over, Seat 1 walked away and Grise stacked his winnings into one of the largest stacks in the room.

Radcliff Forces River Fold

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

With the board reading {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades} Seat 8 was facing a river shove of about 30,000 from Michael Radcliff. He thought for several moments before making the fold.

"Show the bluff," said a player at the table. Radcliff showed the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} overpair and raked in a nice pot.
