Rudolph Flipped Out by Kelopuro

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante
Rudolph vs Kelopuro
Rudolph vs Kelopuro

Christian Rudolph raised to 4,400 in the hijack and Mike Watson called out of the cutoff. Sami Kelopuro three-bet to 21,800 in the big blind and Rudolph then jammed for 56,082. Watson elected to fold but Kelopuro called after brief consideration.

Christian Rudolph: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Sami Kelopuro: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop improved the Finn and the {5-Diamonds} turn changed nothing whatsoever. Another blank followed with the {10-Hearts} river and that spelled the end for Rudolph on the second bullet.

Pärssinen Doubles Through Rudolph

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Pärssinen vs Rudolph
Pärssinen vs Rudolph

Eelis Pärssinen had lost a chunk of his stack against fellow countryman Sami Kelopuro and then opened to 3,360 on the button in the last hand prior to the break. Christian Rudolph three-bet to 12,800 in the small blind and called the four-bet jam for 38,773 total.

Eelis Pärssinen: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Christian Rudolph: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades} board provided a sweat but Pärssxinen prevailed.

Chidwick on the Rise

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 6,400 in the small blind and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 17,760 in the big blind, earning a call from Nemeth. The {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop saw Nemeth check-call for 9,230 and the {7-Clubs} turn was checked. Nemeth check-called another 27,690 on the {k-Hearts} river with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and walked into a flopped full house, as Chidwick had the {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

A few hands later, Artur Martirosian led a three-way turn of {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for 4,541 and Chidwick called. The {k-Clubs} fell on the river and Martirosian bet another 7,538, earning a call. He tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for kings and nines, which Chidwick had beat with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Badziakouski More Than Doubles

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

David Peters made it 3,520 to go from under the gun and earned three callers including David Coleman, Mikita Badziakouski in the hijack, and Samuel Vousden in the big blind. The four players all checked the {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and Vousden bet the {5-Diamonds} turn for 12,360. Peters called, as did Badziakouski, and Coleman folded.

On the {4-Spades} river, it checked to Badziakouski who jammed for the 29,199 he had behind. Vousden's call forced out Peters and Badziakouski doubled with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} versus {3-Spades}{2-Spades}.

Vousden Bombs the River

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Wiktor Malinowski opened the action with a raise to 2,800 and Samuel Vousden three-bet to 8,400 from two seats over. David Peters four-bet to 19,600 in the hijack and Vousden was the only caller.

On the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Vousden checked and called Peters' bet of 6,720. The {10-Hearts} turn was checked and Vousden jammed it in after the {a-Spades} river to win the pot by sheer aggression.

Chidwick Chips Up; Greenwood Busts

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Greenwood vs Astedt
Greenwood vs Astedt

Right before the blinds went up, the action escalated and Stephen Chidwick scored a big pot while Sam Greenwood was eliminated.

Chidwick's raise to 3,500 was defended by Artur Martirosian, who check-called for 10,710 on the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. Martirosian then bet the {4-Diamonds} turn for 7,587 and the {7-Hearts} river for 28,222. Chidwick called both times with {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and caught Martiosian with the fingers in the cookie jar, as he only had {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

Two hands later, Greenwood three-bet to 14,000 in the small blind and Niklas Astedt cold four-bet to 28,460 in the big blind. Andras Nemeth folded and Greenwood called to see the {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop. He checked and Astedt jammed with the covering stack, which Greenwood called for the 56,274 he had behind.

Sam Greenwood: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Niklas Astedt: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {3-Hearts} turn left Greenwood in even worse shape and the {2-Spades} river brought no miracle.
