Recent Casualties

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The sixth bullet of Timothy Nuter was not crowned by success as he got it in against fellow late entrant Joao Vieira on a {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop.

Timothy Nuter: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Joao Vieira: {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The {6-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} river were of no help. Several other players busted shortly after as the field was thinned down to 34 contenders.

Muehloecker vs Watson

Mike Watson raised it up to 15,000 and Thomas Muehloecker three-bet to 47,250 from one seat over, which Watson called. On the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Watson checked and elected to call a bet worth 27,525 by Muehloecker.

Malinowski Scores a Double

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Wiktor Malinowski doubled through Mike Watson when the chips trickled in throughout a board of {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. More than half of the pot was invested on the river as Malinowski check-called all-in with {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for aces and nines, which beat the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} of Watson.

In the meanwhile, Daniel Dvoress and Timothy Nuter busted while Liviu Ignat late-registered.

Nuter got it in ahead with {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} only for Dario Sammartino to table the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} board gave Sammartino a set of eights.

Addamo Soars Back into Contention

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante
Addamo vs Gottlieb
Addamo vs Gottlieb

Michael Addamo re-entered, as did Fedor Holz, among others. Both clashed on the newly opened table as Holz was in with the {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Addamo had that dominated with {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and the kicker played on the {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} runout.

Addamo then doubled through Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb, who made a move on a three-way flop of {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop with a massive jam.

Michael Addamo: {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {a-Diamonds} turn and {6-Diamonds} river made sure that Addamo secured another double.

Addamo vs Sammartino

Michael Addamo opted for a min-raise in the cutoff and was called only by Dario Sammartino in the small blind and Christian Rudolph in the big blind.

Watson Wins Without Showdown

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

Andras Nemeth recently doubled through Darren Elias and Mike Watson remained the clear chip leader at their table.

The Canadian took on Elias in a smaller pot when he bet the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop for 12,500 and earned a call. The {9-Diamonds} turn was checked and Watson check-raised the {j-Hearts} river from 25,200 to 139,600. No call by Elias followed as Watson pulled back over half a million in chips.
