Fox Rivers Superior Pair

Blinds 35,000-70,000

Andras Nemeth opened the action with a raise to 147,000 as the first player to act and Elio Fox filled up from the big blind. On a {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, Fox check-raised to 310,000 and Nemeth called. The {3-Clubs} turn was checked and the same applied for the {j-Diamonds} river.

Fox tabled {j-Hearts}{9-Spades} and that won the pot, as Nemeth's {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} was no longer ahead.

Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Blinds 35,000-70,000

The action folded to Andras Nemeth in the small blind and he shipped it in for more than 7 million. Yuri Dzivielevski had 380,172 behind in the big blind and reluctantly called it off as the far shortest stack.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Andras Nemeth: {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Both paired up on the {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop and the {2-Diamonds} turn opened some chop opportunities. However, the {3-Spades} river was not what Dzivielevski was looking for and he departed in 7th place for $192,924.

Benitez Beats Fox in Showdown

Blinds 30,000-60,000

Elio Fox opened to 132,000 and Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez came along out of the big blind, which led them to the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Benitez check-called for 96,000 and did so again for 355,410 when the {a-Clubs} turn paired the board.

The {3-Spades} river slowed down both and they checked. Benitez revealed {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, beating Fox's {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} in showdown.

Blinds 30,000-60,000

Following a min-raise to 120,000 by "FlowTao" from under the gun, Andras Nemeth called in the big blind and the duo checked the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. Nemeth bet the {j-Hearts} turn for 247,500 to earn a call and jammed the {q-Hearts} river.

"FlowTao" had 1,022,684 behind and called it of with {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. However, Nemeth had flopped trips with {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to deal the final blow.

Nolet Takes It On The Turn; Benitez Pays Off Fox

Blinds 30,000-60,000

Andras Nemeth made it 126,000 to go and Guillaume Nolet came along out of the big blind. On a flop of {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Nolet check-called for 85,500 and then led the {a-Clubs} turn for 144,000. Nemeth let go and surrendered the pot.

Two hands later, a battle of the blinds emerged between Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez and Elio Fox. The former raised to 180,000 and Fox defended. The {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop went check, check, and Benitez's bet on the {3-Spades} turn for 148,600 was called.

Benitez also bet the {k-Clubs} river for 286,676 and Fox went into the tank. He eventually raised to 675,000 which in a response sent Benitez into the tank, too. After investing nearly two minutes of his time bank, Benitez called with {q-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Fox dragged in the pot with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Down and Up for Nemeth

Blinds 30,000-60,000

Andras Nemeth recovered some of the previous loss by winning a small heads-up against Guillaume Nolet and then faced a raise to 120,000 by Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez on the button. Nemeth three-bet to 540,000 only for Benitez to four-bet, making it 1,140,000 to go. Nemeth bowed out as Benitez further added to his stack.

Matthias Eibinger then raised to 132,000 and Nemeth called in the small blind, "FlowTao" did so from the big blind. Nemeth opted to lead the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop for 150,480, forcing two folds.

Yuri Dzivielevski then defended the big blind against a min-raise by Benitez and his open-shove on the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was succesful.

Benitez Jams Into Nemeth

Blinds 30,000-60,000

Following a raise to 126,000 by chip leader Andras Nemeth, Benjamin Rolle flat-called on the button and Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez stuck around from the big blind. Only Benitez check-called Nemeth's bet worth 154,440 on the {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop to then check again the {j-Diamonds} turn.

Nemeth now bet 522,660 and Benitez used more than two minutes of his time bank before jamming for 2.16 million. That won the pot without resistance, as Nemeth snap-folded.

Rolle doubles through Eibinger

Blinds 30,000-60,000

Elio Fox made it 132,000 to go in the hijack and found one customer in Matthias Eibinger, who filled up from the big blind. The {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop brought a check-call by Eibinger for 90,000 and they checked through the {j-Diamonds} turn. Eibinger bet the {7-Hearts} river for 352,440 and that won the pot uncontsted.

"FlowTao" then earned a pot without showdown and Eibinger was involved in the next hand once more.

He opened to 132,000 on the button and Benjamin Rolle three-bet jammed for 962,222, which was quickly called by Eibinger.

Benjamin Rolle: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Matthias Eibinger: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Both hit their kickers on the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts} board which ensured the double up for Rolle.
