Hansen Hits, Doubles

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Mikkel Lokkegaard Hansen opened from early position for 2,400 and got a call from Scott Seiver to his left. Round it went to Oscar Casado Diaz in the big blind who raised to 8,500. Hansen moved all in for 24,300 and when Seiver folded Diaz insta-called and tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Hansen was at risk and up from his chair tabling {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and calling for an ace as he did so.

The dealer didn’t take long to oblige as the dealer put out a board of {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Hansen sat back down to his double up. “I should have folded.” Diaz mournfully joked.

Berglund Busts Les

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jason Les
Jason Les

Lukas Berglund, who won a WPT event here back in 2011 for €231,500, and went deep in the EPT Sanremo last season, has just eliminated High Stakes player Jason Les.

Les shoved all in for a mere 11,100 from the hijack, and Lukas Berglund reshoved from the small blind. The big blind thought for a bit, but eventually folded.

Berglund had {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and was well ahead of Les' {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop didn't help Les, and Berglund knocked out his opponent.

Bardah Doubles Through Vas Nunes

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Action folded to the UK's Paul Vas Nunes on the button, and he opened with a raise to 3,000. Ronnie Bardah reraised all in from the small blind for 13,600. Vas Nunes called with the {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, but he was up against the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for Bardah.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}, and Bardah doubled back to the starting stack of 30,000.

Relaxed Call

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

A player in early position opened for 2,500 and Jordi Marcos Fernandez declared all in. It wasn’t his turn to act however and the dealer put out her hand to indicate as much. It was Mikkel Nielsen’s turn to act next and he was receiving a vigorous massage. After a while Nielsen called the 2,500. Fernandez now had his turn and moved in. It folded back round to Nielsen who got the count and made the call with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and dominated the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of Fernandez.

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Fernandez was out. When he had left the original raiser asked if he had seen the out of turn shove. He had not. “I guess I’m lucky.” He added.
