Day 4 of the 100th European Poker Tour event resumes today at the Casino Barcelona with Andrei Konopelko sitting at the top of the leader board with 1,451,000 chips. The 50 year old from Belarus qualified via a €530 satellite on PokerStars and is looking to spin that up to a huge pay-day.
Piotr Sowinski from Poland bagged the second biggest stack returning with 1,315,000 and in third place is EPT Berlin champion Davidi Kitai 1,200,000.
Kitai isn’t the only former EPT winner left in the field though. Still in contention are EPT Prague champion Martin Finger (1,038,000), EPT London winner Robin Ylitalo (338,000), EPT Barcelona winner Mikalai Pobal (163,000), Mike McDonald (495,000) and EPT Tallinn winner Kevin Stani (421,000).
The last Team PokerStars Pro standing is Jan Heitmann who has 953,000
Just 102 players remain from the 1496 entrants, a record for an EPT on European soil, and they are battling it out for a huge €1,261,000 first-place prize and the prestige of being crowned a European Poker Tour Champion.

Table 1, which includes chip leader Andrei Konopelko, is going to be the main feature table today - at least at first. Table 5, featuring Mike McDonald and Emil Patel, is the secondary feature table.
Mikhail Rudoy opened and called a shove from super short-stacked Raymond Baker who had just 47,000 left. Baker had the best of it with dominating the of Rudoy.
The final board of saw Rudoy take the lead on the flop and remain ahead to eliminate Baker.
Zoltan Purak from the UK, who started with 83,000 was eliminated on another table at the same time.

Mike McDonald opened from early position for 20,000 and got a call from Sveva Libralesso in the small blind, one of two women left in the field. Mark Wagstaff from the UK was in the big blind and he raised it up to 55,000.
McDonald quickly folded and Libralesso thought it over before she too released her hand.
Davidi Kitai had raised preflop from the cutoff, Jose Goncalves Pinheiro moved all in from the button and Kimmo Kurko reraised all in from the big blind, Kitai folded.
