When it folded to Pedro Marques on the button, he shoved with a stack that covered both Barak Oz and Jaehyung Park in the blinds. Oz was the shortest stack at the table, and after looking at his cards, he made the call for his remaining 2,750,000. Park folded and the cards were revealed.

However, the dealer fanned out a flop of 6♠Q♣8♣ to put Marques in the lead with a pair of eights. The K♦ on the turn meant only an ace on the river could save Oz from elimination. The 6♣ dropped on the river to give Marques the winner, and Oz was sent to the rail just shy of a podium finish.

The 4♣Q♥10♦ flop checked around for the 5♦ to fall on the turn. Oz checked and Park fired a bet of 675,000. Runcan quickly folded, but Oz thought about it for a while before he reluctantly folded and surrendered the pot to Park.

The 9♠K♦9♦ flop gave Bergstrom a few more outs to stay alive. The 2♥ turn was a complete brick, and after the 8♠ dropped on the river Bergstrom was out in fifth, and it guaranteed a new EPT Main Champion will be crowned.
