Ladev Shows Down Queens to Double Off Nashar

Markkos Ladev bet 12,000 from under the gun on a flop of 9♦6♥10♥ and Hassan Nashar called in the small blind.

Ladev bet another 34,000 on the 3♦ turn and Nashar again called. The river was the 9♥ and Ladev moved all in for 60,000. Nashar used a few of his time banks and eventually called as Ladev turned over Q♠Q♦. Nashar tossed Q♥10♠ into the muck as Ladev doubled up.

The fourth season of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) run by PokerStars is well underway and the action only continues to heat up with the recent schedule release for its marquee stop in Las Vegas. Juan Pardo raised to 7,000 from early position with Vladimir Korzinin three-betting to 11,500 from the cutoff. When it folded back to Pardo he shoved to put Korzinin all-in. Korzinin called for his remaining 80,000 and the cards were revealed.

Pardo needed some help or he would be left very short-stacked. The board ran out clean for Korzinin's jacks as it came 2♥10♥2♦3♠8♦ and he had doubled up.

Markkos Ladev bet 8,000 from the cutoff on a board of 8♥3♥8♣9♦ and Ognyan Dimov called on the button. Biao Ding then raised to 28,000 in the big blind and only Dimov called.

The river was the 6♠ and Ding moved all in for around 100,000. Dimov spent a minute in the tank but eventually slid his cards into the muck as Ding took the pot.

Aleksejs Ponakovs and Juan Pardo have both reentered.

Hassan Nashar opened to 6,000 from middle position before Juan Pardo three-bet to 18,000 from the button. When it folded back to Nashar he called.

On a flop of 2♦4♥8♦, Pardo got the rest of his chips into the middle and Nashar called with the covering stack.

Nashar had flopped bottom two pair and was ahead of the top pair of Pardo. The K♠ turn and J♣ river didn't help Pardo and he was out of the tournament.

Heads-up on a flop of 7♥6♠3♣, Alexander Zubov bet 10,000 from the cutoff and Atanas Malinov raised to 25,000 in the small blind. Zubov then moved all in and Malinov called for his last 50,000.

Malinov had a pair and straight draw but needed to improve against Zubov's pair of eights. The 7♠ turn was no help, but Malinov spiked his straight on the 4♦ river to double up.

Moene check-callled a bet of 9,500 from Ponakovs on the 10♠4♠5♣ flop.

The turn came the A♣ and Moene check-called another bet from Ponakovs, this time for 8,500.

Moene bet 18,000 on the 6♠ river. Ponakovs didn't take long to push his cards into the muck and Moene took down the pot.

Vicente Delgado raised to 6,000 under the gun and Biao Ding called in the hijack.

Both players checked the 6♣Q♦5♥ flop and Delgado then bet 6,000 on the 2♦ turn. Ding called and the 7♦ fell on the river.

Delgado then bet 20,000 and Ding called once more with 9♠9♣. Delgado mucked ace-high and Ding took the pot.

The next hand, Alexander Zubov raised to 6,500 in the hijack and Kayhan Mokri called in the small blind. Delgado then moved all in for 65,000, Zubov reshoved, and Mokri tanked for a moment before folding.

The J♥10♥8♦ flop gave Zubov top set, while the 6♣ on the turn left Delgado drawing dead. Mokri then revealed he folded two nines.

"Why fold?" Zubov told him as the Q♦ fell on the river.

"I agree," Mokri said as he would've made a straight on the river while Delgado was sent to the rail.
