Martinez Bubbles, Lagan Doubles in Same Hand

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Albert Martinez
Albert Martinez

Sam Greenwood kicked off the action with a raise to 60,000 as first to act. Paul Lagan then three-bet to 125,000 in the next seat before Albert Martinez called all-in for 50,000.

Greenwood called the three-bet to create a side pot for the K42 flop. Greenwood checked, Lagan bet 65,000, and Greenwood called. Greenwood then checked again on the 5 turn, after which Lagan quickly shoved for 360,000.

Greenwood thought it over for a bit before calling it off, after which all three players tabled their cards.

Albert Martinez: 1010 All in
Paul Lagan: KK All in
Sam Greenwood: KJ

Both Martinez and Greenwood were already drawing dead against the top set of Lagan, and the inconsequential 10 river marked the official bursting of the bubble.

Martinez left the tournament in 14th place while the remaining 13 players continued playing, having secured at least €8,300 for their efforts.
