Mokri Eliminated on the Bubble by Brewer

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Kayhan Mokri
Kayhan Mokri

Chris Brewer opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Kayhan Mokri three-bet to 60,000 out of a stack of 105,000 in the cutoff. All players behind folded and Brewer reraised to more than 500,000 for Mokri to call all-in.

Kayhan Mokri: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Chris Brewer: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The Norwegian had best case scenario as the shortest stack on the direct bubble with his two overcards. However, he found no help on the {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} runout to become the bubble boy.

"Too many final tables," he joked on the way out, having reached the final table in his last five tournaments with just one re-entry across all of them. All six contenders have now locked up a payday of €72,400.

Ketzer Has to Settle for a Chop

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Felipe Ketzer raised out of the small blind and Daniel Dvoress defended the big blind. What followed were three barrels by Ketzer worth 40,000 on the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, 160,000 on the {k-Diamonds} turn and 170,000 on the {3-Hearts} river.

Dvoress called all of them with {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and earned a chop, as Ketzer's {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} was denied the entire pot on the paired board.

A Chip and a Chair for Mokri

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Kayhan Mokri
Kayhan Mokri

Kayhan Mokri raised to 150,000 for half of his stack and Nick Petrangelo then jammed for 305,000 out of the small blind.

With a very dry voice and smirk on the face, Mokri instantly said "Shit ... I think I made a huge mistake" before he called the all-in with the slight covering stack.

Nick Petrangelo: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Kayhan Mokri: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The superior pair made a set on the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades} board and Mokri was left with fumes.

He moved all-in next and Orpen Kisacikoglu grinned a "yes" to which Mokri reminded him a premature celebration was no good for the karma.

Felipe Ketzer raised to 50,000 thereafter and Ren Lin called in the big blind. They headed to the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Lin checked. Ketzer bet just 20,000 and Lin groaned "if you bluff, I will kill you" before folding.

Kayhan Mokri: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Felipe Ketzer: {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Lin smirked as it was indeed a bluff by Ketzer at that point. The {5-Clubs} turn brought a sweat but Mokri quadrupled his fumes thanks to the {4-Spades} river.

One hand later, Mokri raised to 80,000 from under the gun and everyone folded including Kisacikoglu in the big blind. "The premature yes got you," Mokri declared.

Kisacikoglu Doubles Through Ketzer

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 100,000 for half of his stack and Felipe Ketzer three-bet to 180,000 on the button. Both blinds got out of the way and Kisacikoglu called with 20,000 chips behind. On the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Kisacikoglu check-called all-in and the cards were revealed.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Felipe Ketzer: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Kisacikoglu was ahead with his pair of aces and the double-up was confirmed with the {4-Clubs} turn and {j-Clubs} river.

"That was not good," Kayhan Mokri joked with a big grin on the face after all was done and dusted, as he had just become the shortest stack on the bubble.

Ketzer Four-Bets Successfully

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In the first hand back from the break, Nick Petrangelo raised to 45,000 in the hijack. Ren Lin on the button asked for his stack size and then inquired about those of Orpen Kisacikoglu and Kayhan Mokri as well, who were in the blinds.

One 30-second shot clock ran down before Lin raised to 450,000 and all opponents folded.

Daniel Dvoress then made it 40,000 to go from under the gun in the next hand. Chris Brewer in the hijack three-bet to 110,000 and it folded to Felipe Ketzer in the big blind. He carefully cut out a four-bet to 275,000 in order to force out all opponents.

Mokri won the blinds and big blind ante back that he had to forfeit prior with a successful button raise to 155,000.

Break on the Money Bubble

Level 16 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Kayhan Mokri raised to 30,000 from under the gun in the last hand of the level and fellow short stack Orpen Kisacikoglu called out of the big blind. The {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was checked by Kisacikoglu and he then folded when facing a bet of 21,000.

After the hand, the seven remaining players were sent on a shortened break of 10 minutes as requested by them during which the T-1,000 chips will be raced off.

Trips for Dvoress

Level 16 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 35,000 in the cutoff and was called only by Ren Lin in the big blind. The flop brought {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Lin check-called a bet worth 35,000. Both then checked down the {k-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river, as Lin exposed the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Dvoress had that beat with the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades} for trips nines and Lin joked "ohhh jack-nine, eh? tilty ..." with a smirk on the face.
