Having defended the big blind against Francesco Delfoco, it was Alexandru Papazian who bet the turn for 105,000. Delfoco called and faced the very same bet sizing on the river. Delfoco then raised to 500,000 and Papazian folded.
"I hope it was a bluff," Papazian said and Delfoco inquired whether or not the Romanian had bluffed. "No, I didn't bluff," Papazian replied but neither player revealed their cards.
One hand later, Papazian jammed from the small blind into the big blind of Arnaud Mattern and the latter called for the 560,000 he had behind.

Both had a piece of the flop and Mattern stayed ahead on the turn and river for the double to trade roles with his table neighbor.
Michael Ferrer raised to 140,000 in the cutoff and was called only by Hugo Bohn in the big blind. On a flop, Bohn check-called for 150,000 and both checked the on the turn. Bohn tanked for a short while on the river and then bet 500,000.
Ferrer called within a few seconds and was shown the for a pair of sixes only, which he had beat holding the .
Jon Kyte raised to 125,000 from under the gun and Michael Ferrer called in the small blind.
The flop came . Ferrer checked and Kyte bet 90,000. Ferrer called. The turn was the and Ferrer checked again. Kyte put out a bet of 230,000 and Ferrer went into the tank for a long time before folding.
"You're not supposed to bluff Canadians," said Ferrer.
From under the gun, Jeremie Zouari raised to 120,000 and the action folded to Francesco Delfoco in the small blind. The Italian three-bet to 500,000 and Wagner Ripper tank-folded with 11 big blinds behind.
Zouari mulled it over for another minute and a half and then called, which led them to a flop. Delfoco gave it about a minute before announcing a bet of 1,000,000 that covered his opponent. Zouari sigh-folded the face-up with the words "no heart."
On a flop of , Manuel Labous bet 135,000 and Mohamed Mokrani called.
The turn came the , Mokrani checked and Labous bet 300,000. The river came the and Mokrani checked again. Labous went all in for 955,000 and Mokrani thought for a long time before folding his hand.
Michael Ferrer opened to 135,000 and table chip leader Hugo Bohn three-bet to 430,000 in the cutoff. The shorter stacks behind let go and so did Ferrer.
Bohn then jammed from the button into Ladislao Dalfo Batlle and Simeon Spasov. The Spaniard quickly folded while Spasov went deep into the tank. It was so long that the clock was called on the Bulgarian and 30 seconds ran down without any decision for Spasov's hand to be declared dead.
