Kyte Gets Short and Recovers Some Chips

Level 31 : Blinds 10,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Jon Kyte raised to 300,000 and then folded when Francesco Delfoco three-bet to 2,300,000 in the small blind with some 300,000 behind.

Kyte defended his big blind next against Antony Marchetti, who had opened to 350,000 in the cutoff. The {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop was checked by Kyte and he came along once Marchetti bet 175,000. Kyte then led the {5-Hearts} turn for 350,000 but folded to a shove.

That sent the Norwegian back to just ten blinds and he limped the small blind next, Hugo Bohn checked his option in the big blind. Following a {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Kyte bet 150,000 and Bohn raised to 375,000. A reraise to 600,000 by Kyte forced out Bohn.

Break for the Final 11 Players

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Another level has concluded and the final 11 players are now on a scheduled 15-minute break, during which the T-5,000 chips are raced off. They are no longer required for the rest of the tournament, which is just two eliminations away from reaching the unofficial final table.

Delfoco Wins Pot From Bindel Just Before Break

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Luc Bindel
Luc Bindel

Luc Bindel raised from middle position to 250,000 and got called by Francesco Delfoco in the big blind.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts}. Delfoco checked, Bindel bet 230,000 and Delfoco called. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and both players checked.

The river came the {3-Hearts} and Delfoco led out for 450,000. Bindel went into the tank and the dealer called time before he eventually called. Delfoco showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for top pair and Bindel's hand went into the muck. It was a decent pot for Delfoco right as players went on break.

Mokrani Chips Back Up; Zouari Slips Further

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Jeremie Zouari raised into the big blind of Mohamed Mokrani, who defended to see a flop of {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Mokrani check-called a bet of 150,000 and the {k-Hearts} turn followed. Another check-call for 300,000 by Mokrani led to the {5-Spades} river on which Zouari checked behind.

Mokrani tabled the {k-Spades}{5-Clubs} for two pair and won the pot. Both exchanged some words in French as Mokrani asked his opponent if he had a jack. Zouari nodded and Mokrani continued "guess you have to call if I bet."

One hand later, Zouari defended the big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Cedric Massaro. The {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop was checked and Zouari bet the {4-Hearts} turn for 200,000, Massaro came along.

No betting action came after the {q-Hearts} river and Zaouri exposed the {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for ten-high with a missed gutshot, which Massaro had beat holding the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for ace-king high.

Bohn Catches Delfoco's River Bet

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Francesco Delfoco
Francesco Delfoco

Hugo Bohn raised to 250,000 from the button and Francesco Delfoco called in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Delfoco checked, Bohn bet 250,000 and Delfoco called. The turn came the {7-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {6-Diamonds}, putting four diamonds on the board. This time, Delfoco led for 450,000. Bohn stared intensly at the board and took time to think before finally making the call. He flipped over {a-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a pair of aces, catching Delfoco's river bluff and scooping the pot.

Marchetti Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Antony Marchetti raised to 250,000 from under the gun and earned calls from Jon Kyte in the small blind as well as Hugo Bohn in the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to Marchetti, who bet 225,000 to force two folds.

Kyte bemoaned a marked card among the two of Marchetti, which he had previously noticed and spotted again. The deck was replaced prior to the next hand.

Ripper Doubles Once More; Mokrani Chips Up

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Shortly before the blinds had gone up, Francesco Delfoco raised to 300,000 on the button. Wagner Ripper pretty quickly ripped it in out of the big blind for 720,000 and Delfoco tanked for 90 seconds, then made the call as the new level was already underway.

Wagner Ripper: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Francesco Delfoco: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop gave the Italian a gutshot to go with his dominated pair but Ripper survived thanks to the {a-Hearts} turn and {j-Clubs} river.

One table over, a three-way limped pot led to the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop that was checked through. Cedric Massaro check-folded the {q-Clubs} turn to a bet worth 275,000 by Mohamed Mokrani and a check-call by Jeremie Zouari.

Zouari then checked the {4-Spades} river and folded once Mokrani made it 300,000 to go.
