Kuznetsov Busts Chaoui; Draws Large Bounty

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Bruno Volkmann raised to 50,000 on the button and Mehdi Chaoui let his shot clock run down to five seconds before he pushed all-in for 230,000 out of the small blind. Nikita Kuznetsov in the big blind went over the top and Volkmann released his cards into the muck.

Mehdi Chaoui: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Nikita Kuznetsov: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was of not much help but the {9-Clubs} turn provided a mandatory sweat for Chaoui. However, the {4-Hearts} river came a blank and the young Frenchman departed. Kuznetsov went on to redeem his bounty shortly after and picked the envelope with the largest prize left in contention: €50,000.

"Sorry guys," he said with a grin on the face after revealing the prize to all remaining opponents.
