Heath Hits Quads, Doubles

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a 160,000 pot between Dominykas Mikolaitis in the big blind and Ben Heath in early position, both players checked the turn on the double-paired K9K9 board. The river came the A and Mikolaitis now put a very small bet of 25,000 out.

Heath threw in a time bank chip before he raised that to a massive 390,000, leaving himself only 5,000 chips behind. Mikolaitis also tanked for a while before he put in a stack of chips to signify a call.

Heath showed 99 for the turned four of a kind. ''Wow!'' Quan Zhou exclaimed. Mikolaitis, however, could only show a hero call with AQ. This marks Mikolaitis' first time with a stack of under one million on Day 3, while Heath doubled up, almost reaching that figure himself.

Camosci Clinches a Double-Up

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Enrico Camosci put the majority of his 300,000 chips in from the button before Markkos Ladev went all in from the small blind. He covered Camosci, who quickly put in the rest as well.

Enrico Camosci: AJ
Markkos Ladev: A10

Camosci's phone captured how the 94K54 board secured him his double-up and left Ladev with just over ten big blinds.

Alejandro Lococo Eliminated in 17th Place (€76,200)

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alejandro -Papo MC- Lococo
Alejandro -Papo MC- Lococo

A pot was playing out between Natan Chauskin in the big blind, Alejandro Lococo in the hijack, and Adrian Mateos in the cutoff.

On a flop of QJ7, Lococo fired a bet of 40,000 after a check from Chauskin. Mateos made the call, while Chauskin mucked his hand. The turn came the 5 and Lococo jammed the rest of his chips in. That amounted to 200,000, covering Mateos' 155,000 stack.

Mateos had to think long and hard about his decision, tossing in a few time bank chips every now and then. Eventually, he made the call to put himself at risk.

Adrian Mateos: KQ
Alejandro Lococo: A9

Mateos needed to fade an ace or diamond and he did so when the river brought the Q to give him trips.

Lococo was left with two big blinds and they went in the very next hand when Lococo left himself a single T-5,000 chip after he raised to 40,000 from under the gun. Mateos was in the hijack this time and made an almost minimum three-bet to 65,000. The action folded back to Lococo, who threw in his last chip as well.

Alejandro Lococo: Q5
Adrian Mateos: AQ

Mateos flopped two pair on Q8A and the 7 turn sealed the deal. The two players shared a handshake before Lococo left the field. There are now 16 players remaining and they have converged into two tables, without a redraw.

Conor Beresford Eliminated In 18th Place (€66,250)

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

In a heads-up pot with 170,000 in the middle on a flop showing 954, Roman Samoylov checked from under the gun to Conor Beresford on the button who bet out 65,000.

Samoylov put in a check-raise to 175,000 and after close to 30 seconds, Beresford moved all in for roughly 300,000 total. Samoylov rechecked his cards before making the call and the cards were on their backs.

Conor Beresford: KK
Roman Samoylov: 45

Samoylov out-flopped the cowboys of Beresford with two pair, and when the board ran out 78, it was the end of the road for Beresford as he was eliminated in 18th place.

Barbero Binks an Ace and Doubles

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Nacho Barbero open-raised his button to 35,000 and Day 2 chip leader Dominykas Mikolaitis made it 120,000 to go from the small blind. Barbero then responded with a four-bet jam to 435,000 and Mikolaitis made the call in an instant.

Nacho Barbero: AJ
Dominykas Mikolaitis: JJ

Barbero was in rough shape, but that all changed when the A3K flop appeared. With Barbero hitting top pair, Mikolaitis was now looking for the only jack left in the deck or some runner-runner shenanigans. The 4 turn killed the dream of the latter happening, and the K river decided the pot in Barbero's favor.

Barbero doubled up to an above-average stack.

Milos Petakovic Eliminated In 19th Place (€66,250)

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Milos Petakovic

The action folded to Milos Petakovic in the cutoff who moved all in for 60,000 and was called by Quan Zhou in the big blind with a slightly bigger stack.

Milos Petakovic: 33
Quan Zhou: 54

Surprisingly enough with Zhou only holding five-high, it was essentially a flip situation. The board ran out K6235, and the five-four for Zhou turned a straight to send Petakovic to the rail in 19th place.

Two Double-Ups on the Same Table

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

On table 4, the action folded around to Quan Zhou in the small blind. Zhou started today as the shortest stack with only 65,000 and jammed all those chips in. Conor Beresford was in the big blind and made the call.

Quan Zhou: 55
Conor Beresford: KQ

Beresford whiffed the 9101032 board and Zhou captured a double-up.

A few hands later, it was Beresford himself who raised to 100,000 from the button. Milos Petakovic was in the big blind and flat-called. The flop came 4K2 and Petakovic led for 30,000. Beresford then went all-in for 75,000 or so and, after some deliberation, Petakovic decided he could not fold, although he was left with a very short stack.

Conor Beresford: KJ
Milos Petakovic: A9

No ace came looking on the 105 runout and Beresford raked in a double-up of his own.

Fireworks Between Lococo and Camosci

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Alejandro Lococo opened to 30,000 from under the gun and it folded around to Enrico Camosci in the big blind who three-bet to 135,000. Lococo took some time, but eventually made the call.

The flop came 1022 and Camosci continued for 40,000, which Lococo called. On the 4 turn Camosci slowed down with a check to Lococo who bet out 65,000, and Camosci came along.

The K hit the river and Camosci took close to 30 seconds before checking over to Lococo who quickly checked back to a showdown.

Camosci tabled AK for a rivered pair of kings and Lococo frustratingly tossed his cards to the dealer.
