Dvoress Doubles Camosci

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress and Enrico Camosci were heads up on a flop of A410. Camosci bet 30,000 from the cutoff and Dvoress check-called from the big blind.

The turn came the Q and Dvoress now check-raised all in after Camosci bet another 85,000. The bet was for 300,000 total and Camosci was as risk. ''I am going to call,'' claimed Camosci, and so he did.

Enrico Camosci: QQ
Daniel Dvoress: AJ

Top pair and a gutshot straight draw for Dvoress, but Camosci had him crushed with his turned set. The A river made Dvoress trips, but upgraded Camosci to an even better full house.

Camosci doubled to an average stack, while Dvoress' stack dwindled below that number.

Dvoress Goes Big On River Against Mateos

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

In a heads-up pot with 120,000 in the middle on a board showing Q96J, Adrian Mateos bet out more than the pot to 160,000 from the big blind and Daniel Dvoress made the call in the hijack.

The 2 completed the board and Mateos slowed down with a check to Dvoress, who took some time before announcing a bet of 250,000. Mateos went in the tank, but after close to 30 seconds, made the fold and the pot was sent to the Canadian.

Ketzer Gets Lucky To Score Massive Double Up

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Felipe Ketzer
Felipe Ketzer

Just before the break, Roman Samoylov opened the action to 45,000 in early position and it folded to Felipe Ketzer in the cutoff who moved all in for 475,000. The rest of the table got out of the way and Samoylov called to put Ketzer at risk.

Felipe Ketzer: AJ
Roman Samoylov: AQ

Ketzer was out-kicked and in rough shape, but when the board ran out 9656Q, it was the spade on the river that saved Ketzer with a flush to score the massive double up off Samoylov.

Tomas Jozonis

Roman Samoylov open-raised to 45,000 before Tomas Jozonis put his final 120,000 chips in. The action folded back to Samoylov, who immediately said ''Good luck,'' and called.

Tomas Jozonis: 1010
Roman Samoylov: A9

A sweaty flop emerged as the 108J gave Jozonis a set of tens, but Samoylov still had a plethora of outs with an open ender and a flush draw.

The 3 did not change anything, but the 6 made Samoylov the nut flush. Jozonis said his goodbyes to the table and was the first player to collect a six-figure score from his high roller endeavor.

Saar Wilf moved all in from the cutoff for 125,000 and was called by Mikita Badziakouski in the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and the cards were shown.

Saar Wilf: J10
Mikita Badziakouski: KJ

Wilf was out-kicked and in need of help to stay alive, but when the board ran out 765K4, it was the king-jack for Badziakouski that held up to send Wilf out in 14th place.

Quan Zhou Eliminated in 15th Place (€87,650)

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou had been playing less than ten big blinds for almost the entire day. He put his last 125,000 in the middle from middle position and the action folded to Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind. He doubted what to do for a bit, but eventually put in the calling chips.

Quan Zhou: A10
Steve O'Dwyer: A4

Zhou was a favorite preflop, but the JA4 flop reversed that role in O'Dwyers' favor. His two pair held on the 8 turn and 3 river, and Zhou was ousted from the tournament, taking €87,650 back to Hong Kong.

Markkos Ladev Eliminated in 16th Place (€76,200)

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Markkos Ladev
Markkos Ladev

Markkos Ladev and Adrian Mateos were involved in a blind-on-blind pot. On the 3J2J board, Ladev check-called a 30,000 bet from Mateos.

The river fell the 4 and Ladev checked again. Mateos put him to the test for his final 100,000 chips, which sent Ladev into the tank. After a while, he made the call for his tournament life.

Mateos showed down 65 for the rivered straight. ''Do I have to show?'' Ladev asked. After an affirmative answer was given, he showed that he had called with just a pair of ducks: Q2.

The hero call did not bear fruit and Ladev was eliminated as the first player from the final two tables.
