Five-Bet and a Snap-call

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Grzegorz Kozieja opened under the gun to 25,000 before Anton Markov put in a three-bet to 70,000. Action folded back to Kozieja who sat in the tank for a moment and then opted to put in a small four-bet to 125,000. Markov pondered his next action and then announced he was all in.

Kozieja snap called and the cards hit their backs with Markov all in and at risk.

Anton Markov: AK
Grzegorz Kozieja: KK

The full board ran out 9QA24 and Markov would get the card he needed in the form of a flopped ace. Kozieja was only left with about 15,000 more chips and would hit the rail just a few hands later.

The pot stood at approximately 72,000 with two players looking at a board that read KK9.

The K turn saw Foggin slow down. Peralta bet out 55,000 and Foggin check-raised, again, to 115,000. Peralta elected to see a river.

The 4 saw Foggin move all in for 257,000. Peralta made a frustrated fold.

Light Three-Bet Still Gets the Knockout

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The hand began with an interesting dynamic as Stoyan Obreshkov was in the big blind and his remaining chips were just enough to cover both the big blind and ante. So before action had begun he was already all in and at risk.

There were a few folds before Leonid Orman opened the action in middle position to 22,000. Aleksandr Faterin called from the cutoff before action made it to Tom Vogelsang in the small blind. He took a moment and then gathered enough chips to put in a three-bet to 80,000. Both of his opponents thought it over but eventually folded.

Vogelsang was heads up going to a full board with Obreshkov all in and at risk.

Stoyan Obreshkov: J10
Tom Vogelsang: QJ

The full board ran out 62K37 and Vogelsang scored the knockout and the chips after using some well-timed aggression to get the pot heads-up.
