Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Roger Abed open-jammed for 250,000 from the hijack and was called by Oleg Furman from the cutoff. Aziz Efe then rejammed from the small blind and folded out Furman.

Roger Abed: KQ
Aziz Efe: 99

Furman seemed to fume that he folded when seeing the cards, as he said he had Ax10x. However, he soon breathed a sigh of relief as Efe made a full house in the 977 fllop. The 4 turn and 7 river was just a formality and Abed's exit was confirmed.

Sharp River Call From Sula

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Nicanor Sula opened to 45,000 in early position and got called by George Rabahie in the big blind.

The QAA flop hit the felt and action quickly checked through to a 10 turn. Rabahie checked again and Sula opted to put his foot back on the gas and bet out for 25,000. This action was met with a quick check-raise to 60,000 by Rabahie. Sula mulled it over and eventually landed on a call.

The 4 landed on the river and Rabahie led for 55,000. After a few moments Sula put in the chips. Rabahie shook his head and tabled 84 for a missed flush draw and Sula tabled J10 for just third pair. He dragged the pot after a great river call.

Demirkol Tanks With the Second Nuts

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Cecile Ticherfatine

The pot stood at approximately 185,000 with two players looking at a full board that read 710JQ9.

Mehmet Demirkol, in the big blind, checked the action over to Cecile Ticherfatine, who was under the gun. Ticherfatine placed a sizeable bet of 200,000 and Demirkol went into the tank.

Demirkol thought for so long the clock was called. Within the remaining seconds of his countdown, he flicked in a singular chip. Ticherfatine tabled KQ with confidence, and was somewhat annoyed to see Demirkol held KJ.

Both players chopped this pot with a king-high straight. "What were you thinking about?" Ticherfatine asked as she took back her initial bet.

Efe Takes a Stop-and-Go Line

Level 21 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action folded to Ignas Jasinevicius on the button who opened to 35,000 before Aziz Efe defended his big blind.

The J33 flop hit the felt and action checked to Jasinevicius on the button who continued for 15,000. Efe only thought about his options for a moment before putting in a small check-raise to 30,000. Jasinevicius mulled it over for a few seconds and then put in a call.

The K rolled off on the turn and surprisingly Efe snap-checked it over to Jasinevicius. He checked back.

The 7 landed on the river and Efe opted to put his foot back on the gas pedal and bet out for 40,000. Jasinevicius seemed to be a bit perplexed at the line and mulled over his options before eventually thinking better of a call and throwing away his hand.

Efe scooped the pot without having to go to showdown.
