Conor Beresford raised to 10,000 from under the gun before Ren Lin looked down with a smile and went all in from the button with his trademark "No Gamble, No Future" patch. Lei Yu spent a few moments of consideration in the small blind before he jammed with more and both the big blind and Beresford thought better of it. Action was heads up and Lin was at risk.

In a battle of the blinds, Bruno Volkmann bet 7,000 on a flop of 4♠A♦8♠ and Kayhan Mokri called.

The turn came the 10♠ and Mokri then led out for 5,000. Volkmann came back with a raise to 27,000 and Mokri quickly called.

Both players checked the Q♠ river and Mokri showed 10♥4♥ for two pair. Volkmann, though, had A♥10♦ for a better two pair to take down the pot.

Pablo Brito Silva took advantage of late registration on the break to fire his third bullet, but quickly fell to a short stack once again.

Brito Silva raised to 10,000 from early position and Thomas Eychenne called in the small blind.

The flop came Q♥6♠2♦ and Brito Silva bet 10,000. Eychenne called, then called another bet of 25,000 on the J♦ turn.

Eychenne checked the 4♥ river, and this time Brito Silva checked back. Eychenne turned over A♠A♣ and Brito Silva mucked.

The river came the 2♣ and Mokri then pushed forward the rest of his 105,000. Volkmann paused for a moment before releasing his cards.

Zach Gruneberg, a poker player from Pennsylvania with more than $2.2 million in lifetime tournament earnings, recently lost one of his cats, who escaped from his home while he was out in Las Vegas. What ensured was a frantic search-and-rescue effort that spanned a month and a half.

More specifically, it was a 43-day affair “through hell and back” according to Gruneberg, a five-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit ring winner, including back-to-back wins in the WSOP PA Online Series at the end of July.
Gruneberg, who is nine years clean and sober, is on Twitter as @HustlerGrune where it states he is both an anime addict and cat dad. One of those cats is a sleek gray feline named “Nook.”

“Nook is the only cat I've had since he was a kitten,” Gruneberg told PokerNews. “He is a super friendly high energy guy that loves to jump up into high places and play more so than any of my other cats.”
