Barsegyan Pays Off Ladva

Heads-up on a board of 8♣J♣7♠9♠, Ottomar Ladva bet 6,000 from the big blind and Eduard Barsegyan called under the gun.

The river came the K♠ and Ladva led out for another 15,000. Barsegyan tanked for a moment before tossing in the chips to call.

Ladva turned over J♠10♦ for a straight and Barsegyan mucked.

Erik Seidel moved all in for 30,000 from under the gun and Timothy Adams called in the small blind.

Seidel was behind and at risk heading to the river on a board of 7♣6♥2♠5♦, but he spiked the 10♠ to make a pair and double up.

At the same time on another table, Ottomar Ladva raised to 5,000, then called when Simon Mattsson moved his last 31,000 in from the button.

Tom Orpaz, back for his third bullet of the tournament, raised to 4,500 and was called by Conor Beresford in the hijack before Timothy Adams, in the cutoff, three-bet to 17,000.

Orpaz folded, but Beresford stuck around to see the Q♦2♦Q♥ flop. Adams continued for 10,500 and Beresford again called.

The turn came the 2♠ and Beresford led out for 10,500. Adams then raised to 28,000 and Beresford mucked.

Keith Lehr has also recently joined the field.

Rezaei called and turned over K♥6♥ for a pair of kings. Adams, though, had him dominated with K♦10♥. The river came the 8♠ and Adams doubled up.
