Kaverman Scores Unlikely Double Through Dzivielevski

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 200,000 on the button and Byron Kaverman opted for a three-bet to 1,300,000 out of the small blind. That represented more than half of his remaining stack and it sent Daniel Dvoress into the tank. He used one time bank to then fold, Dzivielevski moved all-in and Kaverman called it off.

Byron Kaverman: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

When Kaverman spotted the bad news on the other side of the table, he immediately groaned. The {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop provided a straight draw and while it missed on the {a-Diamonds} turn, the {5-Diamonds} river kept Kaverman in contention. His double was for 2,155,000 to create a new chip leader in three-handed play.
