Ventura Doubles Through Garagnani

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With some 59,000 in the middle to the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Diego Ventura was all-in for 78,000 and turned over the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the top pair and top kicker. That was trailing against the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Pedro Garagnani but Ventura got there thanks to the {2-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river runout.

In the meanwhile, Masashi Oya was knocked out as he now rails the action on the same table with fellow Japanese player Tamon Nakamura involved.

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Luciano De Hollanda
Luciano De Hollanda

The cards of Luciano De Hollanda were already mucked as his stack and the one of Claas Segebrecht were counted. Segebrecht held the superior stack for 195,000 while De Hollanda's 188,000 were covered.

On a board of {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, the duo had gotten it in after the turn as confirmed by Timothy Adams. "It was a three-bet pot, he had ace-king with the king of hearts," the Canadian mentioned. Segebrecht held the winning hand in {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a set of sixes to win the large pot.

Three-Way All-In Goes Well for Derwiche

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Rodrigo Seiji was spotted getting up from his seat while his stack was being counted out. Imad Derwiche was claiming most of those chips as he tripled up through Seiji and Conor Beresford. The 5,000 that was left of Seiji's stack went to Beresford as they had the following hands:

Imad Derwiche: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Rodrigo Seiji: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Conor Beresford: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board read {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} by the time all the cards had been dealt out for Derwich to flop the set and improve to a full house on the river. Beresford flopped the higher pair and ended up with the higher two pair to really bust Seiji.

Mokri Makes the Right Call Against Toma

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The board read {5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} with 55,000 in the middle.

Kayhan Mokri checked his big blind and Tsugunari Toma bet 24,000 from the button. Mokri called to see the {2-Hearts} complete the board.

Mokri checked again and Toma quickly fired a bet of 45,000 out. Mokri dove into the think tank and used two time bank cards before opting to make the call. Toma showed the {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for the pair of fives for Mokri to table the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the higher pair of nines to claim the pot.

Fast Knocks Out Kulev; Doubles Nakamura

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dietrich Fast experienced a very solid start into Day 2 to chip and then boosted his stack further thanks to a successful flip with former big stack Alex Kulev.

Alex Kulev: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board improved Fast to kings full of jacks and sent Kulev to the rail.

It didn't take long for Fast to get involved in the action once more when he squeezed to 40,000 preflop. Tamon Nakamura then pushed for 95,500 and fast called.

Tamon Nakamura: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

"Good start," Fast stated with a dry voice when he found some equity on the {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop.

That was followed by "bad turn" once the {j-Spades} appeared and the {10-Hearts} river brought no surprise anymore for Nakamura to double.

Heath Claims Some Chips Back from Segebrecht

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Claas Segebrecht raised to 10,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Ben Heath in the small blind who three-bet to 47,000 which only Segebrecht called as Timothy Adams folded his big blind.

They both checked through the {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop to the {3-Spades} on the turn. Heath fired a bet of 36,500 out for Segebrecht to make the call.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board and Heath barreled 43,500 over the line for the snap-fold of Segebrecht.

Toma Doubles Trough Yotsushika

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

A preflop raising war broke the stacks of Tsugunari Toma and Kazuhiko Yotsushika into the middle of the table with the former as the player at risk for 132,500.

Tsugunari Toma: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Yotsushika shook his head repeatedly when he saw the bad news and found no help on the {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board. He was left very short and departed in the very next hand.

Lyubovetskiy Doubles Through Oya

Level 11 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, a tussle broke out between Andriy Lyubovetskiy and Masashi Oya with the former at risk of elimination.

Andriy Lyubovetskiy: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Masashi Oya: {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The overpair was ahead but Oya had plenty of outs with the open-ender and flush draw. Nothing changed on the {10-Hearts} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river was another blank to keep Lyubovetskiy in contention.
