Trofimov Turns a Set

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Erkan Soenmez opened to 225,000 from under the gun with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Jaime Cervantes defended the {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} in the big blind. They headed to the {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop on which Cervantes checked and folded once Soenmez bet 190,000.

Dragos Trofimov then opened from under the gun to 200,000 with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Hugo Pingray came along in the big blind with the {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Neither player invested any chips on the {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and the {j-Diamonds} turn gave Trofimov a set.

Pingray checked once more and Trofimov bet 350,000 to take down the pot, climbing closer to Pingray on the leaderboard.
