Hvam Wins Some; Loses Some

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Hugo Pingray raised to 225,000 with the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Morten Hvam three-bet to 675,000 with the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} on the button to apply pressure with his chip lead. Pingray quickly folded and received a walk in the next hand, tabling the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Hvam made it 225,000 to go with the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} thereafter and Dragos Trofimov called out of the big blind with the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop brought a check from Trofimov, a bet worth 150,000 by Hvam and a call by Trofimov.

After the {3-Hearts} turn, both players elected to check and they saw the {5-Spades} river for free. Trofimov then bet 2000,000 and Hvam instantly folded.
