Sebban Out-Kicked by Trofimov

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ariel Sebban
Ariel Sebban

The action started with a raise to 20,000 by Dragos Trofimov in the cutoff and Ariel Sebban in the big blind then three-bet to what appeared to be 90,000.

Trofimov four-bet jammed and that instantly let Sebban sigh as he sunk back into his chair. Without using a time bank, Sebban then called it off as both players were hovering around half a million in chips.

Ariel Sebban: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Dragos Trofimov: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop left Sebban on very thin ice and it was all over on the {8-Hearts} turn, which made the {10-Spades} river a formality.

Both stacks were counted and the 547,000 of Trofimov covered, as Sebban had around 480,000 total to knock out the Frenchman.
