Level 10
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Alex Kulev raised to 8,500 in the cutoff and Jean-Noel Thorel called in the big blind. Both checked the flop and the followed on the turn. Thorel now bet 10,000 and Kulev raised to 37,000. The French businessman confirmed the amount once more to then push all-in and get snap-called by Kulev.
A rather disappointed Thorel vaulted out of his seat and was ready to leave while showing the for broadway. However, he had a lock on the hand already as Kulev's only represented the bottom end of the straight.
"You are good," Steve O'Dwyer immediately said as Thorel sat back down while the rolled off on the river.
"I was sure to lose," Thorel added with a smile on the face, apparently expecting to run right into a possible flush.
