O'Dwyer Wins Three; Beresford Wins One

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer received a walk and then raised to 80,000 out of the small blind in the next hand. Jorryt van Hoof called out of the big blind and they headed to the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. O'Dwyer continued for 45,000 and van Hoof instantly folded.

One hand later, Jamil Wakil opened to 45,000 and O'Dwyer three-bet to 115,000 on the button to earn his third pot in a row after folds by the blinds and Wakil.

Conor Beresford was next to raise and made it 40,000 to go. O'Dwyer three-bet to 105,000 and earned a call from the Brit. The {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop was checked by Beresford and O'Dwyer bet 50,000. The check-raise to 130,000 by Beresford was called by O'Dwyer and that led them to the {10-Clubs} turn.

Beresford pushed all-in for around 300,000 and O'Dwyer folded.

Seiji Catches Lightning in a Bottle

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Rodrigo Seiji
Rodrigo Seiji

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 45,000 in early position and Rodrigo Seiji three-bet shoved all in for 500,000. The action folded back to O'Dwyer who tabled his cards as he quickly called.

Rodrigo Seiji: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

O'Dwyer had the better of the two pocket pairs and had both of the suits covered. However, the flop of {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} gave Seiji a set of queens. The {4-Hearts} on the turn gave O'Dwyer a straight draw but the {4-Diamonds} paired the board on the river and Seiji doubled up again.

Seiji Doubles Through Van Hoof

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Rodrigo Seiji
Rodrigo Seiji

The action folded all the way to Jorryt van Hoof on the button and he pushed all-in against two shorter stacks in the blinds. One of them, Rodrigo Seiji in the small blind, opted to call for the 230,000 he had behind.

Rodrigo Seiji: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Jorryt van Hoof: {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Neither player connected with the {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and {k-Clubs} turn. The {a-Diamonds} on the river then only improved Seiji as he doubled back to half a million in chips.

Big Stacks Battle It Out

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Mark Hammond raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and Jorryt van Hoof three-bet to 115,000 from the small blind. Hammond called and they went heads-up to a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Van Hoof continued with a bet of 105,000 and Hammond called to see the {4-Spades} on the turn. Both players checked through to the {6-Clubs} on the river and then tapped the table once more. Van Hoof showed {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for ace-high but Hammond had him out-kicked with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to win the pot.

Wakil Picks Wrong Timing; Doubles Through Seiji

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

Rodrigo Seiji opened the action with a button raise to 25,000 and Maher Nouira called in the small blind. Jamil Wakil then pushed all-in for what appeared to be half a million in chips and Seiji followed suit with the covering stack, as Nouira quickly got out of the way.

Jamil Wakil: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Rodrigo Seiji: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop propelled Wakil into the lead while the {k-Clubs} turn gave Seiji some more outs to avoid a major setback. However, the {2-Spades} river changed nothing whatsoever and Wakil doubled for 492,000.

Maher Nouira
Maher Nouira

Steve O'Dwyer raise-called the all-in by Maher Nouira in the big blind for the last 298,000 and was trailing in pursuit of yet another bounty envelope.

Maher Nouira: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The kicker played on the {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts} board as Nouira held onto his lead for the double.

Ognyan Dimov Eliminated in 9th Place (€9,270); Emil Bise Eliminated in 8th Place (€11,990)

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Ognyan Dimov
Ognyan Dimov

Jorryt van Hoof raised to 30,000 in early position and Ognyan Dimov shoved all in for 159,000 in the cutoff. Emil Bise also pushed all in for 279,000 on the button. Mark Hammond failed to see the initial raise and announced that he was gambling when he called from the big blind. Hammond also tabled his cards which led to van Hoof shoving all in for 676,000. Hammond still called it off and all four hands were face up.

Ognyan Dimov: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Emil Bise: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Jorryt van Hoof: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Mark Hammond: {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} and van Hoof spiked a set of sixes to take the lead over his three opponents. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn made things extra sweaty as Hammond picked up straight and flush draws. The {7-Diamonds} on the river made Hammond's flush but it paired the board to give van Hoof a full house. Not only did van Hoof double-up through the chip leader, but he also claimed the bounties of the two shorter stacks.

Beresford Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Before the blinds went up, Conor Beresford raised from under the gun and picked up calls by Ognyan Dimov in the small blind, as well as Emil Bise in the big blind. On the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, only Dimov check-called a bet worth 40,000 by Beresford and did so again for 130,000 on the {k-Hearts} turn.

Dimov checked the {6-Spades} river and Beresford used one time bank chip before he bet for all but the last 12,000. That forced a fold from Dimov and the blinds then went up three minutes into the new level.
