Nick Petrangelo Eliminated in 6th Place (€58,830)

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Teun Mulder raised the button and Ole Schemion folded the big blind, leaving himself with just 90,000 behind.

"Your turn," he joked to Nick Petrangelo who was going to be in the big blind next. Juan Pardo then raised to 50,000 from under the gun and all opponents folded to Petrangelo, who called all-in blind.

Nick Petrangelo: {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Juan Pardo: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop was bad news for Petrangelo but he paired up on the {6-Hearts} turn. However, the {a-Spades} river improved Pardo and Schemion celebrated the pay jump. For Petrangelo, the tournament ended in 6th place and €58,830.

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Juan Pardo raised to 50,000 from the button, Leonard Maue called in the big blind.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Both players checked to the turn which was the {q-Diamonds} and they both checked again to the river which came the {5-Hearts}.

Maue bet 200,000 which was more than the pot. Pardo called.

Maue had the {4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} while Pardo tabled the winner with the {j-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Not Much Action in Sight

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Juan Pardo made it 40,000 to go from under the gun and Nick Petrangelo as one of the three short stacks opted to defend the big blind. The flop brought {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Petrangelo quickly check-folded when Pardo splashed in a bet of around 300,000.

Leonard Maue then raised to 40,000 and Pardo called to see the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop. The Spaniard checked over to the initial raiser and Maue's continuation bet of 80,000 did the trick to claim the pot right there.

Pardo and Mulder Tango Again

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action was on the flop as it read {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. From the hijack, Juan Pardo bet 75,000 and Teun Mulder called on the button, both players acting at a very deliberate pace.

The turn was the {q-Hearts}. Pardo checked and Mulder checked behind after using a time extension.

The river came the {j-Clubs}. Mulder bet 100,000. Pardo went into the tank and used up three-time extensions before he eventually folded as Mulder took another round from him.
