Chen Flips Well Against Kim

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

In the final hand of the level, Zhong Chen announced all-in from the cutoff for 328,000. Gab Yong Kim asked for a count before making the call out of the small blind for most of his stack.

Zhong Chen: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Gab Yong Kim: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flip went to the Dutchman on the {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} runout and that left Kim with fewer than two big blinds for the next level.

Nemeth Eliminated on Bubble

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Andras Nemeth raised to 50,000 from early position, Daewoong Song three-bet to 150,000. Nemeth jammed all in when action was back on him and Song snap called.

Andraw Nemeth: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Daewoong Song: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The flop sent Nemeth into deep trouble as it came {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs} to hit the king. The turn was the {7-Clubs} and the river came the {10-Hearts} to end Nemeth's run as the bubble boy in 9th place.

Nemeth Bubble Double With Ducks

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Andras Nemeth open-shoved for 357,000 in the cutoff and Daewoong Song announced all-in for far more in the small blind to isolate successfully.

Andras Nemeth: {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Daewoong Song: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Before the cards were announced, Teun Mulder jokingly said "bye bye Andras" and the Hungarian was indeed in bad shape with the dominated pair. However, the board ran out {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Nemeth survived on the money bubble.

Song Takes Back from Grafton

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

From early position, Sam Grafton raised and Daewoong Song called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Grafton bet 54,000, Song called.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}. Grafton bet again, this time a beefier amount to 165,000 which Song also called.

The {2-Spades} filled out the board on the river. Song checked and Grafton checked behind after a few moments.

Song tabled the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a flopped set and collected the pot.

Small Pots Only

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Gab Yong Kim raised to 50,000 from under the gun and Sam Grafton called out of the big blind. While both checked the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, Grafton then check-folded the {q-Hearts} turn when facing a bet worth 40,000 by Kim.

One hand later, Niklas Astedt min-raised to 50,000 and Kim defended the big blind. The South Korean checked the {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Astedt bet 85,000 and that ended the hand right there.

The very next hand, Astedt min-raised once more and Teun Mulder tossed in the extra T-25,000 chip out of the big blind. Mulder used one time bank on the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, jammed for around 290,000 and Astedt let go.

Grafton Makes Some Space From Song

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The two biggest stacks at the table were clashing as action was on the turn on a board that read {8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and a pot of about 150,000 in the middle. From the small blind, Daewoong Song bet 120,000 and Sam Grafton called from early position.

The river came the {6-Spades}. Both players checked. Song tabled the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} which Grafton had beat with the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} as he collected the pot to spread himself away from Song a bit.

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Out of the small blind, Alexandros Theologis raised to 60,000 and Andras Nemeth called out of the big blind. The flop brought {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Theologis continued for 40,000, which Nemeth called. After the {q-Diamonds} turn, Theologis made it another 65,000 to go and Nemeth let go this time.
